The Perfect Boyfriend

We had just finished P.E and it felt like I was going to collapse and die! How do people do this stuff!

Normally I am first to finish today I was last!

It was Friday and it had been five days since the accident.

I hadn't battled with not having powers until I had to do some running which I actually found really difficult and that I was really unfit!

I hadn't ever felt sweat on me before now.

"You ok?" Kate asked me looking a bit worried, her skin was a little bit glossy from the running and her face was a bit red but me on the other hand! I was giving sweat showers to the ants on the floor!

"Yeah I just need a shower." I said trying to get the words out.

She nodded and I grabbed my towel from the locker and headed towards the showers, normally I didn't even shower. There were only about four girls showering. The rest had showered as soon as the bell rang for the end of P.E.

I was so glad it was a Friday! Literally couldn't wait for Monday so that theses 'cuts' would go away.

Cameron was still in the hospital, he was coming out tomorrow which was nice, my dad took this week off to look after Cameron.

I lay on my bed and heard my phone beep. I sighed, I couldn't use my telekinesis to pick it up so I actually had to get up from my bed and walk to my desk to get it!

I flopped back down on my bed after retrieving it and unlocked it.

It was him!

Kade: Afternoon beautiful, can I please come over for supper tonight? Dad is doing work.

I smiled and locked my phone. I had to ask my dad first.

I went downstairs and found him glued to the TV.

"Dad?" I asked and sat down next to him and I brought my knees up to my chest.

"Yes?"

"Can Kade come over?" I asked quietly,

"Sure." He said, my eyes went wide for a second and then I smiled, "Thanks Daddy!"

I jumped off the couch and ran up the stairs and into my room.

Me: Dad says yes!

I smiled and sent the message.

For some reason I was actually nervous to see Kade.

Since he told me everything it's been weird but awesome at the same time because I don't feel like I'm hiding anything.

I just couldn't wait for Monday to get my powers back and then I could train!

"Knock Knock." I heard someone say by my door.

I looked up and saw Kade standing by the door.

"Come in," I said as I got up and hugged him tightly.

"You look all dressed up?" I said as I went to sit back down on my bed.

Kade was wearing jeans and a black dress shirt.

"Well I thought maybe we could sneak out and go catch a movie." Kade said smirking at me.

I smiled and nodded.

"Let me get dressed quick."

I walked towards my cupboard and pulled a dress out that is tight around the waist.

I went into the bathroom and slipped the blue dress over my head. I quickly did my hair into a braid down my back and added a bit of make-up.

When I came out Kade wasn't in my room anymore.

I quickly grabbed a pair of flat silver shoes and my bag.

I suddenly realized that I couldn't sneak out using my invisibility and would have to use my brain to figure this one out.

I assumed Kade was already in the car waiting for me.

I creeped into the kitchen and went through the back door. I felt like a very good looking secret agent.

I went around the house and through the side gate and eventually I was out on the drive way.

I assumed correctly, Kade was waiting in the car for me.

I got in and Kade smiled at me. I felt so rebellious!

Kade started the car and backed out the drive way and headed towards the mall.

We arrived at the mall and I got out the car, it was drizzling a little bit but it was enough to make my hair go frizzy.

I rushed into the mall so that the rain would cause only a little bit of damage.

"You're such a girl Lex." Kade said as he walked into the mall with his black hair shining from the tiny rain drops.

"No I'm not, I just want to look good for you and not for a pompom."

Kade chuckled and entwined my fingers with his.

"What movie do you want to see?" Kade asked looking more at the horror movies and action movies.

I knew if I chose one that I wanted he would fall asleep and I wouldn't even enjoy it.

"You pick, I'm not fussy." I said as we entered the queue.

Kade smiled and chose a scary movie.

Luckily this time round he couldn't tell my mood because I actually was not looking forward to screaming and hiding behind my jersey the whole movie.

What I was looking forward to was kissing Kade during the movie.

We entered the movie house and it was already dark inside. I could tell that there weren't too many people inside.

We sat down in our seats and about ten minutes later the movie began.

I frowned at the title. This wasn't the movie Kade had picked.

"Hope you enjoy your chick flick." Kade whispered in my ear.

I smiled and looked over at him, was he being serious!

"Are you joking?" I whispered.

Kade shook his head and kissed me on the forehead softly.

I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend!

I watched as this love story unfolded in front of my eyes but I couldn't get Kade off my mind. He had his hand on my bare leg and it was making my brain twitch.

I looked over at him and he looked back at me.

I leant forward and kissed him on the mouth. Sending all my nerves through the roof!

Kade kissed me back and I closed my eyes, making the world around us disappear and we were the only ones left.

I pulled away and leant against his forehead.

"I love you," I said and looked up into his blue eyes.

"I love you too." Kade said and kissed me gently on the cheek causing me to blush.
