As soon as my alarm went of for school my eyes snapped open.
I sat up and yawned before getting out of my bed and making my way to the bathroom.
I brushed my teeth and brushed through my curly red hair. I added a few clips but decided to leave it down.
I went over towards my cupboard and pulled out outfit after outfit, I eventually just decided to go with my normal leggings and boots, I added a floral print top and grabbed some bracelets.
I couldn't decide if I wanted to put makeup on or not. I hardly ever did.
First time for everything I suppose.
I grabbed my makeup bag and added some light makeup making my face look a bit better than it's usual self.
Cameron was still in his pajamas at the dining room table busy eating breakfast.
"We are leaving in about five minuets Cam, we have to go."
"I'm not going, don't feel like school." Cameron moaned.
"You have to," I took his empty cereal bowl to the kitchen and practically dragged Cameron up the stairs and into his room to get him to change.
I waited downstairs as I ate my apple. after ten minuets Cameron eventually came down looking half decent.
Cameron walked past me as he muttered something.
He was obviously in a bad mood. From what? I don't know?
I got into his car placing my new school bag on my lap.
I hadn't seen my dad this morning which was odd considering he was home last night.
"Do you know where dad is?" I asked as Cameron got into the drivers seat.
"Yes, he is traveling again, for the whole week." Cameron muttered.
That's why he is in a bad mood.
"Cam I can look after myself if you want to go to parties and stuff. I am seventeen." I told him, I know he always feels like he has to look after his little sister when dads away because little sister can't handle it but I can now. I couldn't when he first took the job and use to go away for three days at a time but now I am an independent young woman,
"Exactly, you're not even old enough to drink so don't say that you can handle being alone." Cameron snapped me out of my thoughts.
I sighed and looked out the window, "You guys treat me like I'm six years old." I muttered as I watched the trees go past in a green blur.
Cameron's bad mood had put me in a mood now.
I got out the car as we arrived at the school and headed to the building.
"Hay Lex," I looked to my right and saw Amber, I smiled "Hay, where's Jenna?" I asked looking around, they were normally always together.
"She saw you and went looking for Cameron." Amber rolled her eyes.
"Aren't you jealous?"
"Naa, well as first but then I let her have him considering it will make her happy. Plus she had a better chance than me anyway. I've moved on." Amber smiled at a guy that I think was a year bellow us and he winked back.
"That's great Amber. Do you know where Kate is?" I asked looking around as we turned the corner.
"I saw her talking to Kade by the science class." Amber said like it was no big deal.
But it was, why was she talking to Kade?
We were just about to come up to the science class and I spotted Kate leaning against the wall holding her books to her chest.
