It was finally Monday and I had my powers back!
I could do everything normally again. Like waking up late and getting dressed like super quick just so I could have those extra minutes of sleep.
Cameron was home and he was going to school today, he still has no clue that Kade is like me and we don't plan on telling him either. The less people know the safer we are.
I really don't know what to do about my dad, he is working for a secret agent company and is killing people. I don't know what to do about that!
Also Kate is a problem, I'm still considering telling her about Kade but I just am scared.
Since the whole accident and not having powers for a week has apparently made me able to control my water breathing, I have no clue how but I'm not so thirsty anymore and this means that my next power is going to be coming soon and I am scared out of my mind!
I just don't know what my body is going to do and when it is going to do it!
I was still lying in bed. I needed to get up I just did not feel like it at all!
I wasn't looking forward to today because I just did not know what it held for me in store.
I looked over to my clock and I had about fifteen minutes to get ready.
I did everything in super speed and it looked liked everything was working just fine.
I made my way down to get some breakfast and saw Cameron sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal.
"How you feeling?" I asked as I got a bowl from the cupboard and filled it to the top with fruit loops and milk.
"Fine." Cameron mumbled and I rolled my eyes.
He hasn't been in the best of moods since he got home and I have no clue why!
"What's wrong Cam?" I asked softly.
"Nothing." He mumbled again and continued to eat his food.
I rolled my eyes and ate my food in silence.
"Kade is giving us a lift so you better hurry," I said just as I heard a beep outside.
I quickly rushed upstairs and grabbed my school bag and rushed down again.
I grabbed my lunch out the fridge and closed the door to see a letter.
I picked it up and saw my dads scribbled hand writing on it.
"Away for the week, have business to do, left some money in the bank account. Spend it on food! Love you both. Dad."
I sighed and crumpled the paper up just has Cameron came down the stairs with his bag.
We both got into Kade's car and Kade looked to the back seat and smiled.
"Hey you," he said softly.
"Hi," I replied and Kade started the car.
---
I sat next to Kade while the whole school sat in assembly.
I snuck in with Kade's class so I could sit next to him.
As we listened to all the announcements Kade put his hand on my leg causing tingles to go through my body.
Kade had said that he can only talk to me through telepathy because he couldn't read my thoughts yet and he would eventually be able to read them because I will be able to let my brains forcefield down. That's how Kade puts it.
