Life has the times when it disappoints you, through events, people and deaths. You feel like everything is moving fast around you but you slowed down and you're falling behind.
What does it even mean to be disappointed? What does it feel like to be disappointed? Have you even felt the true feeling of disappointment?
So now I'm not the one that is disappointed. It's my dad.
"Lexi, you went out yesterday without my permission." My dad scolded.
I sighed, "Dad, last night you told me you didn't like my boyfriend. You weren't going to let me go in any case. Plus I had fun." I complained.
My dad had to go to work this morning and it was Sunday evening, Dad had just gotten home and he was shouting at me.
"Lexi I'm just disappointed in you, you have chosen a guy that is using you." My dad sighed and I rolled my eyes at him. Did he really mean what he was saying?
"He is not using me!" I shouted
"Well if he is not, I don't like him in any case, he just seems off." My dad said in a whisper.
I let an aggravated sigh and moved past my dad not wanting to have this conversation.
"Lexi." My dad said.
"Dad, seriously, stop being so selfish, you don't take this much interest in Cameron's girlfriends." I turned around facing him again.
"Cameron's a boy Lexi,"
"And!?" I shouted.
"What's going on?" Cameron said as he came into the dinning room.
"Dad thinks Kade is using me." I said still glaring at my dad.
Cameron chuckled a bit.
"Trust me dad, Kade is not using Lexi, compared to Joshua and Sam he is the total opposite."
"Who is Joshua and Sam?" My dad said frowning looking at Cameron and then at me again.
"The boys that tried to use me dad, you would know that if you paid attention but now that you want to you think that the best thing that has happened to me is using me." I said raising my voice.
"Dad just let Lexi be, don't be so overprotective." Cameron said backing me up and I mentally thanked him.
My dad was looking between the two of us, he was not saying anything. I let out another aggravated sigh and stomped up the stairs towards my room.
I got to my room and I felt like picking my bed up and throwing it against the wall.
I needed to calm myself down before I did do that. It wasn't exactly hard with my telekineses.
I stripped my clothes off and walked into the shower.
I put the water on extra hot so that it turned my skin red. I rinsed my hair and added shampoo. I was hurting myself I was scrubbing myself out of frustration so much.
I had forgotten to put my music on and the only sound was the shower.
I suddenly heard, what I thought was a bird pecking on my window in my room. I frowned and turned the shower off after rinsing the shampoo off. I wrapped a towel around my body and hair and went to my window to stop that irritating bird.
I opened the window and a stone hit my cheek.
"What the?" I said looking down through the window.
I didn't see anything.
I frowned and shrugged turning around. Suddenly the presence of someone was in my room. My heart started racing and I turned around to see someone standing by my window.
"Shhhh, it's just me," Kade said seeing my startled expression.
I breathed in relief.
"Kade what are you doing?" I asked half chuckling at him while I frowned.
"I wanted to see you." Kade said giving me an innocent smile.
I chuckled, "Uhm... Lexi you're still in your towel."Kade said awkwardly.
I looked down and I was definitely not chuckling anymore.
I grabbed my pajama shorts and a tank top and rushed into the bathroom to get changed.
I dried my hair with the towel and decided to leave it down.
I came out and Kade was casually lying down on my bed.
I smiled and locked my door before lying down next to him.
"You smell nice." Kade said as I rested my head against his chest.
"Thanks." I smiled and looked up at Kade.
I slid my hands under Kade's shirt making him suck in a sharp breath.
I could feel his amazing muscles, that were so toned and defined.
I went in for a kiss and put my lips against Kade's as he also slid his hands under my shirt.
I turned over and put one of my legs between his legs. I moved my kisses down to his neck and Kade's hands roamed my back.
"Lexi," Kade breathed,
"Mmm" I mumbled as I moved back to his lips and started kissing his lips again stopping what he was about to say.
I brought my whole self onto Kade, straddling his waist.
I continued to kiss Kade, his soft, warm lips moving against mine. I closed my eyes and let everything fade away around us.
Kade's hands went through my hair sending shivers down my back.
I lifted Kade's t-shirt and tried to get it over his head. Succeeding and Kade didn't stop me.
Suddenly the conversation that my dad and I had earlier on went through my mind and I snapped back into reality.
I pulled away and looked down at Kade shocked that I didn't have enough self-control.
I felt a cool breeze on my body and looked down. My top and bra were both off.
Kade's eyes were gazed over, trying to pull me back down to kiss him again, I so badly wanted to kiss him again.
My hands were still on his chest holding myself up and I smiled before ducking down again and kissing Kade. I was still in control but Kade flipped us around and he was on top of me now.
My heart started racing. I couldn't stop him.
"Kade." I whispered trying my hardest not to lose control.
Kade lifted himself up and I could see his eyes coming back to reality.
I covered my bear chest up with my arms and Kade flopped down on the other side of the bed.
I grabbed my top and slipped it on without my bra.
"I'm sorry," Kade whispered.
I gave him a peck on the lips, "It's fine." I said and went to the other side of the bed.
"I better get going," Kade said standing up and grabbing his shirt off the floor.
My smile dropped.
"Why?" I asked disappointed.
"Lexi, you don't understand, I can't do this to you. I will hurt you." Kade said a little irritated.
I gulped and nodded. "Bye, Kade." I said and slipped under my duvet.
I watched Kade leave through my window again. I had no clue how he even got up here.
I sighed and switched my light off.
Kade's touch still lingered on my skin as I fell asleep.
