My Brothers Best Friend ☾ Finn Wolfhard

The sun shining through my window glares in my eye and wakes me up at 8 o'clock.

Today we're going to a festival thing they have in a town called Riverhead.  It's called, "Alive on 25" and they have food trucks, live music and a whole bunch of venders.

It starts at 5 so we are going to be exploring towns surrounding Riverhead.

"Almost Love" by Sabrina Carpenter starts playing as I step into my shower and wash my hair and body.

"It's almost love, but it could be love." I sing along to each song as a new one comes on. When I finish, I get out and blow dry my hair.

I throw on my underwear and a bra while I dance around trying to decide which outfit I brought to wear.

As I'm dancing on my bed, my door slams open and reveals Finn looking on his phone. "Hey, we are trying to decide where we should go for breakfast."

I freeze and don't move a muscle when he finally looks up.

His eyes widen and he tries to back out really quick but he just ends up running into the door. "My eyes are closed!" He shouts as he turns around and runs out of my room, closing the door behind him.

"Just wait there, I'll find some clothes." I throw on the outfit I have picked out and open the door.

Finn is standing against the wall opposite my door banging his head on it.

"You look absolutely psychotic right now, you realize that right?" I chuckle and motion for him to follow me into my room. 

"I only looked a little, Lucy." Finn jumps on my bed. "It was an accident, too. I'm so sorry."

"If you keep apologizing, I'm gonna tell Josh that you came in on purpose." I tease him. I begin doing my makeup in the bathroom when Finn comes to sit on the toilet seat and watches me.

"Wanna go to iHOP?" He changes the subject immediately as I apply mascara.

"Sounds good to me, are the others awake yet?"

He simply nods and looks back at his phone. "Josh and Wyatt are still sleeping, though."

I hum and finish up my makeup before going downstairs and into the living room; Finn following of course.

"Wanna watch an episode of Orange Is The New Black? The sixth season just came out and I need to watch it." I ask as I turn on Netflix.

"Yeah, turn it on." I press play and we watch the first episode of season 6 as we wait for the others to wake up and get down here.

We get about halfway into the hour long episode when everyone comes downstairs, dressed and ready to head out.

"Did you know season 8 of Shameless is now on Netflix?" Sophia sits down as she puts her shoes on and sees what we are watching.

"NO FUCKING WAY!" I screech and jump up and down. "THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!"

"I have never seen someone so excited over a season of a show coming to Netflix before." Wyatt chuckles.

"Honey, this is me when anything comes onto Netflix." I giggle and lead everyone out of the house to the rental car.

"Lucy's motto in life is nothing inspirational." Josh scoffs as he climbs into the front seat, "It's; Netflix is love, Netflix is life."
