AN: Strap up your seat belts 'cause it's gonna be a ride!
A giant monster, no, a monstrosity rose from the ground. The rock mountain which had the cave in its feet rose with the giant monster. The rock mountain was about 10 meters high and 5 meters wide, however compared to that monster, it was only a small part of it, located on its back.
It was a four legged giant monster. Its structure was similar to ankylosaurus, though its tail fortunately didn't have a large rock on its end. However, its size was leagues larger than a dinosaur. Leon had had large mansions back in his world and the size of this monster was comparable to four of his mansions, or three larger mansions.
Its body was covered in craggy rocks. Between its crevices, purple liquid can be seen oozing out of its body flowing through every crevices.
The giant monster's eyes opened, revealing eyeballs similar to a reptile's. Each of them was much larger than the mouth of the cave.
After a few moments, the entire body of this monstrosity was above ground facing the adventurers.
A deafening roar brought the adventurers back to reality. However, instead of a rational response such as asking what their plan was, panic ensued. It was only natural in front of such monstrocity. The rank C parties were panicking, announcing their own demise after giving up all hope. Silver Fang and Leon's party were the only one who could still maintain any kind of rational thinking.
As if not giving the adventurers a time to think, the giant monster raised one of its feet and stepped down to the ground in front of the adventurers, causing another earthquake. The adventurers' back was facing the city of Lingenia. From the direction of its step, it could be done to squash the adventurers underfoot, or it was heading towards Lingenia.
Although it took a day for the adventurers to reach this place, considering the speed and distance of each step it took, it would only be a few hours before it reached the city.
"Le-Leon, what should we do? Should we retreat?"
"It's destination is most probably Lingenia. We won't be able to outrun it even if we try. We could move away from this position and hide from it. However..."
"The city will be attacked."
Leon nodded. The best adventurers were all here in this very place. There were virtually no defense whatsoever that the city could muster if the adventurers here didn't fight.
In order to get information on the monster, Leon used his <<Examine>>. Information about the monster was displayed in a window like dialogue box in his mind.
