Chapter 11 ~ <<Examine>>

After activating the scroll, a surge of information entered Leon's mind. There were just too much information that it wasn't humanly possible to sort out. But for some reason, Leon could understand it without having to comprehend each and every single piece of information. It was similar to the feeling of "I can do it, but I don't know how".

After a while, the blue light and magic circles slowly dissipated after a short time, signaling the end of Leon learning the magic.

Instinctively, Leon was able to activate the spell he acquired from the scroll.

Attempting to try his new spell, Leon asked Lily to show her father's bow to him.

Various information about Lily's bow such as its name, attack power, durability, and description appeared in the form of a window-like dialogue box in Leon's mind.

"It is a success."

"Huh?"

The three voiced their surprise in unison.

"Success? Then do you mean you can only see vague information?"

"No, the information I got is incredibly detailed. That is what I wanted to test."

Leon explained to them about the varying effect of the spells to each magician.

And as expected, the higher the rank of the magician, the better the effect of the spell is.

"So what does it tell you?"

Mia after listening to Leon's explanation became very excited at the prospect that may be she could do it too.

"I am able to get the name of the bow, a short description about it, its attack power, and its durability."

The three sighed in admiration and surprise at how detailed of an information Leon got from the spell.

"Then what about a person? You mention that it can be used on a person right?"

"Yes, but who would volunteer to show their own private information to me?"

"I don't mind."

"Me too."

"I-If its Leon..."

The three answered one after another immediately and stunned Leon.

"Are you serious?"

"Well, I feel that you're not the type of guy to blabber off about someone's private information."

"Also, it will only tell you our strength right? It's not like it will tell you Mia's bust size which might as well be non-exis- AAAGH!"

Before able to finish his rude statement, Rafael was beaten down by Mia with a swift elbow blow to the stomach.

"I-It's as Rafael said, If we can know our current strength, we can choose quests that suits our ability and also improve ourselves based on that."

"Very well, then I will proceed on using <<Examine>> on all three of you after I use it on myself to assure that no such thing like what Rafael mentioned can be seen."

Lily and Mia nodded in unison while Rafael was still suffering from Mia's blow.

Leon looked at his hand and activated <<Examine>>
