OLIVER POV-

She looked so perfect sleeping on the couch of our tour bus. Already washed up and wearing some of my shruken clothes. I didn't quite understand what had become of her. What happened? or what the situation was. I just knew that I had to be there for her, every step of the way.

" Dude, What're we going to do? "

Matt (Nicholl) asked. I shrugged.

" I don't know man. All I know is that she's not leaving my side.."

" We can't have a chick on tour with us Oliver! "

I didn't care what Matt said. Or what anyone said, I was not going to leave Brittany in Alabama. Whether anyone liked it or not.

" Just stop Matt, I'm not leaving her and that's all I have to say. We done here? " He nodded walking away cussing under his breath.

I heated up some chicken soup from a can and walked over to Brittany.

" Hey, " I patted her back gently. She awoke holding her hand over her head.

" Oli..What am I....oh. I thought it was a dream." She looked down. She looked horrible, yet perfect. She looked hurt. Badly.

I set the noodle soup on her lap.

" Oliver.. I'm not sick." She said with a broken grin.

" I know, But.. I thought it would help. "

She smiled and took a big spoonful to her mouth.

" Wait It's-" She pulled back.

" Ouch! Its hot! "

She put the bowl down. I grabbed a napkin and dabbed her lips. She seemed to be staring at me. I couldn't complain. It was enjoyable.

" Thank you. For everything. " I shook my head.

" Don't thank me. I'd do anything for you."

I put the napkin down and looked into her eyes.

She leaned in and brushed her lips softly against mine.

I fought the urge to pull her in for another one, maybe it's just too soon.

What with Cristal's death, I gotta say it hurts me too. Cristal was like my mother, the mother that actually cared. A mother who was always home, always there for me. Not a work addict who only had a minute a day with her son.

I just always hid my pain well, that's why no one noticed.

" I'm sorry, I just-"

" Don't apologize. I was going to do it anyway." She giggled and picked her bowl back up sipping instead of swallowing. Which was recommended.

                         ***

I slid her in my arms her head rocking back and forth from her slumber.

I laid her in my bed pulling the sheets over her body and lightly pressing my lips against her forehead.

I begun to walk out before I heard her silent groan.

" Noo!!!! Nooo!! YOU STUPID BITCCH! YOU KILLED HER! YOU- KILLED HER!! " She yelled kicking and shoving the pillow around her. Tears streamed down her shut eyes.

I ran up to her holding her hand and shaking her awake.

"  Brittany." Her eyes fluttered open her mouth wide in shock. Tears still in her eyes.

" Oliver.." I held her close to me clutching her head against my shoulder.

" Don't worry. I'm here.. Just try to sleep OK? "

She nodded pulling the sheets over her once again.

" Can you sing to me? "

I nodded crawling on the bed next to her. She placed her head against my stomach as I stroked her hair.

" When I look into your eyes I could see a love restrained." I sung November Rain by Guns & Roses keeping it slow and comforting.

I felt the words dig into my chest, they were all true. All of my feelings for Brittany pouring out in a song.

" Darling when I hold you, Don't you know I feel the same."

She shifted her grip tighter her eyes growing heavier.

" Nothing lasts forever and we both know hearts could change. And its hard to hold a candle in the cold November rain."

My voice got tired and heavy. I snuggled closer to Brittany her breathing against my bare chest.

" Why can't you just admit you love me.. If it's true."

And soon enough I dozed off.
