Chapter Sixty-One - Being Named As A True Friend.

-----

ALEX'S POV

The moment I knew where she was, I rushed to her like my life was dependent on her and it was. I found the store address and rushed in and found her. The moment I saw her, relief surged through me, I could hardly believe I found her.

I never wanted to lose her again. I rewarded the store owner a million dollars for saving my angel. I felt my life back in my body.

I looked out to see reporters snapping pictures of us. I put Grace's face in my chest to hide her face and she held me. I sat her in the car rushed to sit on the other side. Finally seeing her again with me, I felt my emotions run wild and tears form in my eyes.

She tried to soothe me when she was the one who was lost. I pulled her to sit on my lap as I hugged her, wanting to cherish her with love.

She fell asleep and I was glad she was okay. I closed my eyes and wished a day like this would never come in my life. I had to be more careful. I can't tell her but I have to keep her safe.

"We're here," Romero announced and I hummed. I slowly kept her on the side and got down and again picked her up in bridal style. I was worried about how bad things had affected her and I knew she wasn't showing yet.

"Grace!" Martin yelled as I saw him rush towards me helping me.

"She's sleeping. I have something important to talk to all of you. I'll let her sleep, first." I said, but Martin didn't move aside. He bent down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. I never saw him being so worried for anyone.

He nodded and left to hug Danielle, saying something to her. I walked to my room, which was upstairs. I placed her on the bed and covered her with sheets. I didn't want to leave but everyone had to know what the situation was, but Grace.

I pecked on her lips and caressed her hair and left immediately, so I could be back before she could wake up. I didn't want to stay away even for a moment.

Everyone looked doomed after what happened today. They had to know. I called Dory and kept her on speaker telling her that I had something important to talk to. She was calm.

"We all know what happened, today. Ace was lured into a fake driver and he dropped her somewhere. It's no coincidence. Britney has her hand behind this." I said and heard everyone gasp.

"My only best friend who stood up for me and not my money. I won't let anyone hurt her!" Martin yelled raged. He was a true friend. I caressed his back trying to calm him down.

"I don't want her to know that her life is in danger. I want to keep her safe, no matter what. You all have to help me." I said and everyone nodded. Mom came in front and caressed my face.

"She is that important to you?" That was the only question she asked.

"More than my life," I answered to her immediately. I could never find a woman who was so pure by heart and who was not with me for my money. She nodded and walked back to Dad and stayed by his side.

"What do you think we do?" Dad asked like the man of the house he was, thinking about all the ways we could protect her.

"Dad, I already talked to Moses. Once we're back, we'll have security. Also, I don't want anything like this to happen again, ever. She had tortured me five years ago, not again, not the one I love more than my life." I stated and paused as I realized what I said.
