Chapter Fifty-Five - Being Named As Kind-Hearted.

-----

GRACE'S POV

"Martin!" I yelled and hugged him. He hugged me tightly. I felt his pain and I wanted to comfort him, right now.

"What are you doing here and how did you come here?" He asked me but those questions weren't a priority at this time. Elle came from behind and just smiled at me. I nodded in response. She had a call, so she walked out taking the call.

"Are you holding fine, Martin?" I asked him ignoring his previous questions.

"I don't know, Gracey." He said and hugged me again, crying this time. I caressed his back. He was hurting. I muttered a few soothing words for him to relay on.

"Martin, listen to me, be strong. Everything is going to be alright. You trust me, right?" I asked him and he nodded not even taking a second. I touched his cheek.

"Now be strong. Go out and have something. If you don't have anything, I'll know it." I warned him and he nodded like a little kid. Elle came back rushing.

"Elle, take him out and have something, both of you. And, there is a cab outside who helped me here, just pay him and most importantly, where's Alex?" I asked him a little rushed and he nodded.

"Last floor." I tiptoed and kissed him on his cheek, it always cheered him. I hugged Elle, she couldn't bear to look at Martin in this state.

"He'll be fine, Elle. Just feed him some chocolate." I advised her and she smiled at me and she nodded frantically.

"I don't know what will I do without you." She smiled back and me and started pulling him out to eat. I stopped them and they looked at me.

"Give him a good tip and tell him that I was very thankful to him." He nodded and I rushed to the elevator and pressed the last floor. I waited as other people stood by the elevator. It was gonna take too much of my time.

I took the stairs, two at a time. I didn't care how low I was running on energy or I didn't have a bite of food in my stomach, I just had to see him, be there for him, comfort him. I was just going to push myself.

I finally reached the top floor. I saw a group of people and recognized one as Mrs.Chadwick. I rushed towards her and she was very shocked looking at me.

"Where...is..Al..ex?" I asked as I breathed heavily.

"Just sit for a while." She suggested but I shook my head.

"I need...him, please!" I said to her and she just pointed me to a man who stood in the far corner looking outside the window, like a lonely and lost child. Tears fell down my eyes and I ran towards him.

"Alex!" I yelled and in a swift motion, he turned towards me. His eyes red and puffy, tears freshly flowing down and my heart broke looking at him.

"Ace..." He hardly whispered, still shocked to see me here. I ran to him and hugged him as tightly as I could. He wrapped his arms around me and nuzzled his face in my neck, inhaling me. I took in deep breaths.

"You are really here?" He said-asked unbelieving and I nodded. He broke down a little and I caressed his back trying to soothe him down.

"I am. I am here for you. How dare you leave me all alone?! I'm gonna put up a fight." I yelled at him and cried on his shoulder as I stayed in his arms.
