Chapter Nine - Being Named As A Precautionary.

-----

GRACE'S POV

When I reached to Sierra she was actually on a crying spree. Somehow, I and Alison soothed her down and she got quiet but we were happier to have the end of a stupid and ear-piercing crying number.

"Okay, better enjoy the time we have rather than grieving." She said and went to clean her face. I and Alison breathed.

The rest of the time went by. I didn't see Alex while on lunch and I better not see him, considering he had some effect on me and he was arrogant. His hazel eyes did remind me of someone but I don't remember whose.

I shook his thoughts away.

Throughout the afternoon, we took selfies and caught up on the time we weren't together. I told them about the incident that recently happened at the café. They pretty cursed the guy. And then praised the other guy who saved me.

I felt bad that I didn't even have time to thank the guy who did save me that night.

But you did see him half-naked. Thanks for the reminder, brain!

But, then he did hug me by misunderstanding me as someone else and it felt so surreal. I shook my head and tried to not go back to my train of thought.

Finally, it was time for the event. The actual event that had caused us to be here. They both got ready in some fashionably rich dresses. I looked at them amazed. They did look pretty.

"You both look pretty," I commented and brushed my fingers through my brown hair, trying to set them.

"Don't talk about us, you need to get dressed, too," Alison replied and I gave her a quizzical look.

"What's wrong in this?" I asked looking at my outfit and I realized that it did look inadequate compared to their dresses.

"Big deal, I'll stay inside the room anyways. I'm pretty tired. You guys enjoy it. And on the other hand, I don't have a dress, too. Let me rest f..." I couldn't complete it as I was being pushed in the bathroom.

"Alison! Sierra! I don't have a dress!" I yelled as I pounded on the door. They just giggled.

"You're having fun watching me in this mess?!" I shouted unable to believe what they were doing and unable to comprehend why they were doing it.

"Look back and just change into that." They said and left the place. I could hear dryer making its terrible noise and that had me known my only option; the dress.

I sighed and turned towards the dress that was kept hanging with a hanger on a hook. Without looking at the dress, I took a much-needed shower to carry on with all the boring events that would take place.

After I was done with the shower, I wiped myself dry and then put on the dress.

It was a light blue off-shoulder full gown. It was tight until my waist and then it was a flowing gown. It looked amazing, just simple and elegant. My brown hair had been complimenting my dress.

I knocked on the door and someone walked towards it.

"Are you wearing a dress? Then only I'll open." It was stubborn Alison.

"Yes!" I yelled for my voice to reach her loud and clear. I heard her laugh before she finally opened the door.

I walked out with a big smile on my face. Sierra looked at me and her jaw dropped. Alison turned to me with a proud look.
