The next day you were still in bed when you heard your bedroom door open. You sat up and frowned as Hayner shuffled in before clambering in to bed beside you.
"What are you doing?" You asked, as he got comfortable, Hayner closed his eyes and raised his arms above his head.
"Well I didn't get to talk to you about last night... I'm sorry sis, I should have done more..." He said, you gave a small smile and got comfortable. "I promise sis, I'll look after you." He stated firmly, you nodded and closed your eyes keeping any tears from falling. "Those shoes belonged to our sister..." He whispered, you nodded you could feel the lump forming in your throat. "It's okay, I'll tell her it was me... when we go home..." The two of you were silent,
"thank you Hayner." You whimpered, he nodded and the two of you fell back to sleep.

A few hours later the two of you were sat awake with a box of chocolates, packs of sweets, movies, and your laptops spread out across your bed. You were staring at your phone and over 100 messages had appeared from everyone, seeing if you were okay. You had to admit it was very sweet of them all, all the messages making you smile especially Xion, Yuffie, Rikku and B.O.C. The former two agreeing to murdering Selphie and no one would know, Rikku apologising for losing you and vowing to take out Selphie if she ever comes near you and the latter being sweet and supportive.
"Okay, we can now watch Lord of the Rings trilogy or Rick and Morty." Hayner finally said, you raised an eyebrow and put your phone down before pointing at Lord of the Rings.
"No way am I watching Rick and Morty." You stated laughing, Hayner nodded smirking as he set up the DVD before getting comfortable with his laptop on his lap and his history assignment ready to be ignored.
"It's fine you're still a pretty cool sister, for liking Lord of the Rings." He said, you reached over to your diary and opened it to the beginning of the week, you skimmed through it before sighing, you had math homework. You reached down beside your bed as the movie began and grabbed your homework before beginning your work.
"Duh, I'm pretty awesome."
"Awesomely annoying."
You both laughed before focusing on the movie and your work.

"And finished!" Hayner stretched his arms and you shifted from his shoulder and glanced around. The tv had credits rolling and you glanced down at Hayner's laptop.
"What time is it?" You asked confused, he chuckled and closed his laptop.
"You fell asleep through the last half hour of the last film." He explained, you rubbed your eyes and pouted.
"Darn, so why did you cheer about it?"
"Oh I finished my homework... but I'm glad you're up. It's about six in the evening." He said, your eyes widened in surprise. You had spent the whole day with your brother and in truth it wasn't that bad. Hayner put everything on the floor and you pushed back the covers and the two of you got up.
"Dinner then back to bed?" He laughed, you nodded. "Alright I'll cook," He announced, you smiled but followed him down to the kitchen.
"I'll help." You said, the two of you got to work making your favourite dishes, chatting and talking about school until you finished and began to eat your meal.

"Thanks for dinner bro." You said as you finished washing up, he nodded and yawned.
"Well, I'm gonna head to bed. Today was fun, see you in the morning for school." He ruffled your hair and ran up the stairs as you finished the last of the dishes before making your way up to your room, you walked through and pushed open the balcony door. You walked out and rested your arms on the railing, staring out at the island. You sighed softly before turning back around and heading in for a good night sleep.
