The final day had arrived, and you were all at the field, the sun was bright and all the teams from the previous matches were here. You glanced around and spotted Penelo and Vaan waving at your group. You all returned the waves and your eyes landed on Yozora who was staring over at you before turning back to the match. Vanitas was in the bowling square throwing the ball up and down ready to begin, as Hayner was set up on the first post, Riku was on second, Jack was on third and Kurt was on forth and Ven was the backstop. The rest were in deep field focused on the batter. Disney Academy's first batter stepped up to the batting square. The others were lined up further back waiting for their turn to bat just gossiping in the line. Vanitas and Ven shared a look and the whistle went. Leon and Luxord were stood extremely close together, faces unreadable as they stared at Vanitas. He threw the ball and the student hit the ball past the boys and made it to the second post as Roxas threw it to Jack and then to Vanitas. Another batter stepped up and Vanitas launched the ball at him, he hit the ball, and Roxas jumped up and caught the ball, causing everyone to cheer, the Disney Academy boy threw his hat on the ground and stomped off. Vanitas nodded at Roxas who smiled and got himself ready as the next batter was ready. The second one hit the ball and made it to first base as the other made it to fourth. Everyone was cheering and screaming, as the match continued, everyone seemed to be having such a good time as for your group you were all completely focused on the match. The girls had won the benchball tournament, the seniors had won the basketball tournament and now it was all down to the juniors. The match picked up and everyone was screaming and cheering for their favourite team, Vanitas threw the ball and the guy hit it, Roxas ran for it as it came closer to the ground everyone was howling, Roxas dove to the floor and caught it before launching it back at Vanitas, he caught it and twirled round quickly throwing it to Kurt who caught it, the guy who was running at Kurt stopped his eyes wide and everyone cheered. Another one was out, just two more to go, Vanitas turned to him his eyes dark and deadly, silenced washed over the field Leon held up his hand and the match stopped everyone began murmuring and Leon looked at Hayner who frowned, they shared a look before Hayner understood, he swapped places with Scott and he stood out on the field. The match continued, and Vanitas threw the ball the guy hit the ball and it zoomed into the sky as he began to run, Roxas and Hayner glanced up and everyone started moving, the ball was coming down and Hayner ran for it before jumping. You cheered as Hayner caught the ball and threw it to second getting it to second. The final guy stepped up and Vanitas through the ball and he hit it but it went straight at Hayner and he caught it, all eyes widened and the guy threw his bat on the ground as Hayner threw the ball back to Vanitas screaming in happiness.
"THEY DID IT!" You screamed, proud of your brother.
"DESTINY ISLAND HIGH HAS WON!"
You were jumping up and down as the team ran at Hayner and tackled him to the ground, Leon and Luxord threw their hands up in the air and were roaring in happiness as Olette ran onto the pitch and dove at Hayner kissing him on the lips, the girls squealed and you smiled clasping your hands together. Hayner was shocked for a moment before he wrapped his arms around Olette and kissed back lifting her up, before pulling back as everyone jumped on him again.
"Students and visiting students please make your way to the festival! Thank you all for coming and we will be with you shortly." Xemnas said, you all ran at your junior friends and began hugging them all.
"You did it!" Axel exclaimed hugging Roxas as Terra lifted up Ven onto his shoulder.
"We're so proud of you!" He said, as Aerith hugged Vanitas and Sora.
"I can't believe you did it! Well done both of you!" She cheered, they both rolled their eyes before hugging their big sister tightly.
"Well done Riku!" Xion cheered giving him a hug as you babbled on at your brother and you both jumped up and down in each others arm. Luckily you both understood each other because as far as the others were concerned it sounded like you were speaking gibberish. Cloud and the other college students congratulated Leon and Luxord as everyone slowly congratulated everyone before heading to the festival.
