It was now the 28th of February of the half term and you were lounging about in your garden, having a lovely lazy day when you heard a knock at the door. You frowned slightly, before getting up and heading to the door to see who it was.

Leon
"Leon?" You tilt your head to the side as you lean against your door. He glanced down at you and smiled slightly.
"Hey, are you busy today?" He asked, you shook your head. "Good, want to go grab some food with me?" He asked, causing your eyes to widen in surprise. You quickly grabbed your shoes and your bag before stepping out of the door and closing it behind you. You glanced up at Leon who took your hand in his and you both walked down the street.
"So I was thinking the beach." He said, you nodded smiling as the two of you headed towards the beach. Once you had made it you spotted a blanket and a basket, your eyes widened and you gripped Leon's arm.
"Oh my gosh!" You ran over to the blanket and Leon chuckled as he followed, you sat down on the blanket and Leon sat down next to you as you opened up the basket and began putting out the food.
"Did you make all this?" You asked, Leon nodded as he leant back slightly. You smiled and leant against Leon's chest as you picked up some wraps. "This is amazing Leon!" You gushed as you began to eat the food. "And yeah we managed to lock out all the maids. Stealing keys was too easy for me and Hayner." You laughed, Leon smiled as you rested your head back against him, you had been telling stories of the castle and your family when suddenly a voice snapped you both out of your conversation.
"SIS?!" Hayner's voice could be heard from the top of the beach and you both turned to see him with Olette who was shaking her head. Leon inhaled sharply and he moved so he was sitting up along with you.
"I'm in trouble." He muttered under his breath, Olette held on to Hayner's arm as he stomped towards the two of you. "What?!" He glanced at Leon who stared blankly at him, Hayner glanced back at you "What!" He glanced at Olette "what?" He continued, Olette shook her head and you gave a small sigh.
"Hayner... please don't." You murmured, Hayner sat down eyes fixed on Leon as you and Olette exchanged pleasantries before turning your attention to Hayner.
"So. Leon. My college buddy- really?" He began staring at him, Leon sighed softly and Olette smiled slightly.
"What are your intentions with my sister?" He said folding his arms over his chest. Leon's gaze flickered to you and back to your brother as you rested your head on Olette's shoulder. You pulled out the strawberries and offered them to Olette. You glanced at Leon and gave him a smile before digging into the food. Leon sighed knowing he wasn't going to be eating any time soon.
"I like your sister. I have since I first met her, no matter how you feel, I'm not giving up on her. I just-" He went silent, and if the three of you looked closer at him you would see the faint blush on his cheeks. Hayner leant closer his eyes narrowing. "I hope you'd accept me trying to win her heart." He cleared his throat and you blushed as Olette let out a squeal. Hayner raised his eyebrow and reached forward stealing a pizza slice. He chomped down on it and the three of you stared at your brother.
"I do like you Leon, and I know you'll protect her." He mused, "But you both know what will happen if you actually date." He said, you glanced at the ground and Leon sighed. "I'm not saying my sister isn't worth it... cause she's pretty awesome. But before you get serious... please just remember you are friends first and foremost." He leant back in the chair and closed his eyes, Olette smiled and took a sip of your drink as you and Leon exchanged glances.
"I know." He said,
"Yeah..." You glanced at your brother and he opened his eyes giving you a half smile before clapping his hands together as he eyed up more of the food.
"Well with that settled let's eat!" He said, Olette nodded smiling.
"This is such a cute idea Leon! Oh are you excited for the next basketball match? It's against the pirates! It'll be so cool!" She gushed, Leon nodded along with Hayner.
"That sounds so cool! Oh Olli you'll have to come over for a sleepover soon!" You said. Whilst you were all chatting happily Leon watched you, before glancing at Hayner who gave him a slight nudge on his forearm and a smile. At least Hayner wasn't opposed to him pursuing his sister, which in his eyes was the highest form of acceptance from one of his closest friends.
