The rest of the week went by quickly, everyone was super excited for Halloween and you were now having a lazy Sunday to yourself before school. You were binge watching your favourite show whilst catching up on your homework from the week and eating your favourite junk foods. Nyx was out doing a food shop with Fran and Hayner was somewhere in his room. You heard a knock on the door and you frowned before pausing your show and hurrying to the door. You opened it to find Xion standing there.
"What's up duck?" You asked, she rolled her eyes and smiled at you.
"I promised you a food date." She said happily, your eyes widened and you lunged yourself at her wrapping your arms around her neck.
"Oh you're a great person! I need food!" You whimper excitedly, Xion laughed as Hayner poked his head out from the top of the stairs.
"Hey Xi, you coming over?" He asked, she shook her head.
"Actually I'm here to take her on a food date." She explained, Hayner smirked and nodded before heading back to his room. You quickly turned to find your shoes and Xion waited before smiling and waving down your walkway.
"Hi Nyx! Hi Fran!" She said, they both smiled at her and walked in as you stood up.
"Where are you off too?" Nyx asked cautiously, you smiled at him.
"Xion's taking me for dinner, she owed me." You said, Fran nodded.
"Well be good." She said, Xion nodded and linked arms with you as Nyx headed to the kitchen.
"Have her back by eleven!" He called, Xion nodded and Fran chuckled as you and Xion left.

"Welcome to Divine Rose, what table would you like?" Vanille looked up from the computer screen and smiled.
"Hi Xion! Hi {Name}!" She beamed, you both smiled at her.
"Hey can we have a table for two?" Xion asked, Vanille nodded and she picked up two menus and you both headed to a table.
"Enjoy! Can I get you any drinks?" Vanille asked, Xion nodded.
"I'll have a water." She said, you glanced through the menu before glancing at Vanille.
"I'll have an orange, thanks Vanille." You said, Vanille nodded and wrote it down.
"I guess you owe her food, huh Xion?" She mused, you frowned as Xion smirked. "You're a glutton anyone can make you do stuff if you get food out of it." Vanille chuckled. You folded your arms pouting.
"Yeah alright I get it."
"I'll be back with your drinks." Vanille winked at you both and you stared through the menu.
"So this place is cool." You said glancing around, it had a rose like scent to it and low green lighting. Xion nodded as you glanced at the red and purple furniture.
"Yeah, it was newly refurbished and it's the most popular on the island."
"{Name}?"
You both glanced up to see Noctis holding your drinks. Xion's eyes narrowed and she glanced around.
"You're not Vanille..." She muttered until she glanced at a waving Vanille. You smiled at Noctis.
"You're working tonight too?" You asked, Noctis nodded as he placed your drinks down.
"Yeah... what are you two doing?"
"On a date." Xion mused, Noctis stopped pouring her drink and eyed her. "I'm kidding. I promised her food for waking her up early. This was my treat." She said, Noctis grunted in understanding.
"She does like food." He murmured, you frowned at him.
"Why do we all think I like food?" You said, the two of them raised an eyebrow at you with a look that said are-you-serious. You sighed and slumped back in your seat. "Okay, you both win."
"Can I get you your food?" He asked, you both nodded.
"We'll have the garlic bread for starters and I'll have the sea lobster and fries." Xion said, Noctis nodded and glanced at you.
"I'll have the pasta bake." You said grinning at Noctis who nodded a small smile on his lips. Xion rolled her eyes and rested her chin on her palm an amused smile on her lips.
"Alright, I'll be back with your food soon." He left and Xion smiled at you.
"So, you've been here five weeks. How are you feeling about all that?" She asked, you fiddled with your knife and fork and shrugged your shoulders.
"It's so much better than being in a castle." You said, she nodded taking a sip of your drink.
"Right, would you have wanted to be with us from when we were kids?" She said, you shook your head.
"Surprisingly not." You said, Xion's eyes widened in surprise. "Not that I don't think it would have been great, but I think it would have been so different. I like this, I like how it is now."
"You just don't want to give up the throne." She winked at you causing you to laugh.
"I dunno, I probably could give it up..." Your cheeks turned red, Xion noticed.
"Or rather you'd give it up for someone?" She teased you reached forward and smacked her arm gently your body flushing with heat.
"No, shh you." You mused, Xion smiled.
"It's okay." She said as Paine arrived with your plate of garlic bread.
"Hey girls, here you go. Enjoy... having a good evening so far?" She asked a bored expression on her face. You smiled at her as Xion looked hungrily at the food.
"Yeah! How are you?"
"Pretty good, it's a slow evening. Well you two crazy kids have fun. I'll be back with main later." She said giving you a small smile before wandering off to another table. The two of you dug into your garlic bread and continued to chat.

"Okay! Here is your food!" Vanille came back over smiling brightly with your food you smiled up at her and you both thanked her. She placed them down and smiled happily.
"Okay, enjoy your food! If you need anything else let us know!" She bounded away and you and Xion dug into your food, snapping pictures of your food and a selfie.
"Okay, so Xion I had a question." You began, Xion nodded cutting into her food. "Why did you bring me for food? You didn't have to." You said, Xion froze before composing herself and glancing at you.
"Well, part of it is because I did promise and another part... well two parts... to mess with the boys a little." She mused, you raised an eyebrow "one day you'll see it. But I also did it to keep them away for a while, you need a night away to yourself and I bet their competitive sides are becoming annoying." She said taking a bite of her food, you thought about what she said and you realised she was right, you were getting tired of the constant arguing the boys were doing, and the constant interrogations from your brother and Nyx and how you couldn't spend a lot of time with the girls.
"Yeah..." You took a bite of your food and Xion glanced at you.
"But I bet your starting to develop feelings... so think of this as your night to think and chill." She said giving you a smile. You nodded smiling back as both you ate your food and chatted as much as you could.

You had finished your food and Paine wandered over picking up your plates.
"Can we have the bill Paine?" Xion asked, Paine nodded and walked away and you glanced at Xion.
"Thank you for this." You said, she grinned at you.
"Thank you for coming with me. This was fun, but you do realise the other girls are gonna wanna do this too?" She laughed and you rubbed your belly chuckling.
"I am okay with that!" You laughed, Noctis walked over and placed the bill down as you and Xion rummaged into your purses.
"I'll pay for the meal if you do drinks?" Xion asked, you nodded and you both put the money on the table including a tip. Noctis nodded and picked it up.
"Have a good evening, {Name}... you too Xion." His eyes flickering to her briefly, she nodded knowingly.
"Thanks! See you later Noctis!" You waved goodbye to the other two, and you and Xion headed home for the evening.

"Thank you again Xi." You said hugging her goodbye as she stopped by your door, you pushed it open and Nyx appeared.
"Hi again!" Xion said cheerfully, Nyx smiled at her and you headed to his side.
"I'll walk you home Xion, it's not good for a girl to walk alone at night." He said, he glanced at you "you better get in, Fran wants to know your plans for the week, I'll be back in a few minutes." He said, Xion's eyes widened and she thanked him quickly as he strode out of the house and she hurried to keep up.
"He's such a gentleman." Hayner laughed, you glanced at your brother as you headed into the house.
"More so than you." You teased, Hayner shook his head as you settled in for the rest of the night.
