Your shoes echoed through the halls as you headed slowly towards the drawing room. You trailed your hand down the front of your pale pink dress. The silky and lace dresses, something you really hadn't missed, the dress sparkled under the different lights and you let out a small breath. The corset tight, making it hard for you to breath. Your hair had been pulled up into a high bun, with two strands on either side of your face dangling down. Your mini tiara sat in front of it and sparkled brightly. Your favourite dangly earrings were in and your family necklace sat nicely. You came to a stop outside the doors and glanced at the two guards who gave you a warm smile. 
"Hey sis." A voice said from behind you, you turned around and Hayner was in his white shirt, brown tie, with his a shade darker than your pink waist coat, he had his matching suit trousers and his suit jacket slung over his shoulder and his brown shoes. "Ready for this?" he asked, you shrugged your shoulders.
"Not really, not that I don't mind being like this... but in front of our friends... I dunno..." You mumbled, Hayner nodded.
"Yeah, I get that. It's weird right? They haven't seen us like this... oh well. We gotta do this!" Hayner said punching your arm lightly, it was as if nothing had changed. The guards chuckled and you both smiled at them.
"If it is any consolation your highnesses, you both look lovely." One said, and you both beamed at them.
"Aw now your just buttering us up." Hayner laughed, the guards shifted slightly.
"Well as the children were entering, they were saying how excited to see you both in your royal dress." The other added, you both blushed slightly.
"Thanks guys! You're the best!" Hayner said, you nodded in agreement.
"Yeah! Thank you!" You smiled.
"Now, we've left them with our family long enough. Let's do this." You hugged each other quickly and then Hayner held out his arm and nodded to the two guards, they pushed open the door and you took Hayner's arm and you both walked in.

Nyx and Fran bowed slightly once they caught sight of you. Your friends turned around and stared at the two of you before getting up and bowing. You lowered your gaze as you passed him and your mother held out her hand taking your brother's hand as your father took yours.
"My daughter, come sit! We've been hearing all about your adventures at Destiny Island!" He chuckled as he sat you down, you glanced to your side to see Namine smiling warmly at you, she held out her hand under the table and you gave it a squeeze. Your brother sat down next to Pence as your mother sat quietly beside your father.
"Now!" your father exclaimed, "you must tell us more about your island, you have a mayor? He's been quite interested in meeting us!" He chuckled and nudged you lightly and you rolled your eyes. "We are quite the catch after all." He winked, and a few of your friends giggled slightly. Marlene pouted and tapped Rikku.
"You have pretty hair!" She breathed out, Rikku's eyes widened and she glanced at you and back to Marlene, you could tell Rikku wanted to hug your sister to thank her but Rikku looked unsure.
"If you want a sister Rikku, you can take her." Hayner teased, you smirked and Marlene frowned at the two of you before she latched herself to Rikku, hugging her tightly. Rikku smiled and hugged the smaller girl.
"She'd be a better sister than you two!" She whined, you and Hayner grinned causing the others to chuckle.
"I'm your brother, you moron." Hayner scoffed. Marlene stuck out her tongue and you smiled slightly.
"That's quite enough, Hayner, {Name}, you shouldn't tease your sister. Marlene don't crush the poor girl." Your mother said sternly. You pursed your lips together and Hayner turned his attention to his mother.
"So mother, anything exciting happen here whilst we were gone?" He asked, your dad began flailing his arms around and Hayner slumped back ever so slightly in his seat. Your mother nodded and folded her arms neatly in her lap.
"As a matter of fact, Sephiroth and his children paid us a visit. They were hoping to see you both and Gentiana." She explained, Marlene giggled.
"They wanted to marry you!" She said loudly, everyone stopped what they were doing. Your father sighed as you and Hayner exchanged looks before glancing at your mother.
"What does she mean?" You asked, your mother looked at you.
"She means, they were interested in setting up arrangements, after all you were always playing together as children." She said, the two of you locked in a deadly stare off. Hayner glanced at Olette, his cheeks burning slightly before he clenched his fists beside him and shook his head.
"Mother, that's not something to discuss here and it's not like you gave us a choice." He said coldly, you both looked over at Hayner, shock written across your face as your mother held an unreadable expression.
"Why-" She stopped as your father held up a hand.
"Some things do not need discussing this early on. After all we have guests..." He gave her a warning look before turning to everyone around the room. "Now then! I find you all very fascinating and may I add a rather lively group from what Nyx and Fran have been telling me!" He bellowed happily, causing the tension to lower dramatically. "Some of you were interested in being guards, I might say that Nyx and Fran are the finest in our Kingdom!" He went on and on, engaging in conversation with everyone, along with Marlene. You on the other hand were concerned, you hadn't seen Sephiroth's family in ages and you weren't sure if you were ready to see them again.
