Percy POV
"Percy, get out," Raven said weakly, hovering over a random toilet, awaiting another episode.

"You said you wanted me here," I objected, slightly confused about the double meanings this woman kept giving me. "I just arrived."

"I want to be left alone," She said, clutching her abdomen. "You've been really helpful,  and I appreciate everything you've done for me. Fly around with Angel for a while, and let yourself relax. You need it."

I didn't want to admit it, but Raven was right. I hadn't been sleeping, Annabeth wasn't talking to me, and Will Solace hated my guts for leaving Nico.

Right after we came back from Tartarus, I told Annabeth everything that had happened. From Ari's death to the ritual, she seemed understanding of the situation at first.

Until I started making routine visits to the Apollo cabin.

For the past two months, news of Raven's pregnancy spread throughout camp, and I was immediately dubbed the father by the Aphrodite cabin. Everywhere I went, campers stared and pointed, barely hiding their giddy at the latest of gossip. Some of Annabeth's girlfriends advised her to break up with the cheating scum that I was, while others thought lowly of her for even staying in a relationship with me.

It felt like I was never stopping, always going to or fro. I felt like I owed Raven something for putting her through so much, and like a traitor whenever I thought of Annabeth.

If I tried to rest, it was always in vain. I couldn't help thinking about the baby, or believe that I would be its father. My short lifespan is one of the reasons I've never thought about children, or hope for a family with Annabeth. New Rome did spring up some ambition in that department, notwithstanding the turmoil of this year.

"I'm fine," I lied, purposely forgetting about my issues and remembering Raven's. "The real question is, are you?"

The daughter of Apollo gave me a sour look. "No, I'm not fine. In fact, I'm the total opposite of fine!"

I expected this response. Since coming back from Tartarus, I never knew what mood Raven could be in, aside from that of an agitated female.

This had to be one of those moments, when I made leave despite wanting to do more. It was something I couldn't get used to, yet always ended up doing when visiting Raven. I can admit that I cared for her, and yearned for this child more and more everyday.

But are my feelings wrong?

I met up with Angel a bit later, wrapping her in a warm hug. After everything that'd happened, she was the only person I could tolerate at the moment.

We stretched our wings and flew around some, going by Angel's favorite spots in the area. I would be lying if I said it didn't make me uneasy, flying around hundreds of feet in my uncles domain. I still needed much more practice and discipline in the sky, barely managing not to crash into a pine tree at one point.

Angel gave me tips and pointers along the way, making it look easy. Her white wings moved smoothly, catching air and lifting her body like a bird. I tried following her lead, doing better and better each time.

Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

I planned to keep going, if it wasn't for the conch horn. It sounded three times, which meant Chiron wanted a meeting. The emergency couldn't wait, so I said my goodbyes to Angel and made a landing on the hard ground. Hurriedly, I forced my wings to fold in and raced to the Big House.

Around the time I arrived, I made out Annabeth.

She caught my eyes first, briskly making her way to the same destination. She was wearing an orange tank top and jean shorts, with her hair pulled up in a ponytail. I smirked at my girlfriend, in an attempt to get some response back.

She said nothing.

Soon, all of the head counselors were sitting in a circle, waiting for Chiron to speak. The centaur seemed tired and angry, pacing around the ping pong tables fervently.

"There are some things you all must know," He said, breaking the silence. "Hecate was found dead two weeks ago, by Zeus himself. He declared war on Tartarus and anyone else who had a hand in it this morning."

The words were met with surprised exhales. The only ones already burdened with this information was Annabeth and I, so this came as news for the others.

"Why tell us now after two weeks?" Katie Gardner wondered, her eyes wide.

Chiron sighed. "I had orders not to disclose this information to anyone until today. Dionysus is in a meeting as we speak."

"Can we go back to the part about Hecate being dead?" Leo piped up. "Did Athena go all stabby stab on her?"

A couple of offended demigods glared at Leo. That was a bit too soon.

"Ask Percy. He's the one so deep in this he can't see straight," Will Solace answered him, looking at me hatefully.

I forced my mouth shut, letting his comment blow over as the room burst into conversation.

The different voices and questions were overwhelming, reverberating through my head sharply. I fingered my temples, circling them roughly to decrease the throbbing.

I must've zoned out, because the room fell silent and everyone seemed to be waiting for a response. Curiosity gave me the strength to lift my head, and I found that all eyes were on me.

"What?" I said groggily.

"Like I said, he doesn't care. We're about to be in a full out war, and the person to blame is dozing off during a meeting," Will said, swiveling his head around for attention. "Everything that's happened has all got to do with him."

I shot up, my chair falling backwards.

"If you've got something to say to me, I'm right here," I challenged.

The room became so silent, I could hear my heartbeat. Will stood up to meet my eyes, inches away from my face.

"You left Nico down there. To die," He hissed.

"Boys!" Chiron interrupted. "This foolishness will not be tolerated!'

"You were too busy banging that whore to even care!" Will snapped, spittle hitting me in the cheek.

I curled my hand into a fist, automatically hitting him in the jaw. Spit and blood escaped his mouth, caking the ground.

"Don't you dare!" I shouted, my vision red.

Hands grabbed me from behind, pulling me out of the room.

"Percy, stop it!" Annabeth demanded, putting her arms around my chest roughly. Her voice soothed my anger, bringing it to a controllable level.

"Just calm down."
