Percy POV
Getting back into my regular routine was hard. After an entire week of my life being stripped away by Tartarus, my sleeping schedule was a total mess. I caught myself falling asleep in the Dining Pavilion once, with food all over my face. Leo still teased me about it, and found it comical to tell every living soul about it.

My friends were all supportive; excited to see my improvements. I was no longer having hallucinations or extremely graphic nightmares. My appetite had even increased, and I realized how much I had missed food.

Annabeth was still guilty about putting me into an induced coma, so she never tried correcting me on anything, per usual. She seemed more distant than before, like she didn't deserve to be in my presence. I knew what she did to me was controversial, and very deadly. I knew that many campers wanted me to dump Annabeth, gods forbid. I hated that my girlfriend was treated like trash for making the hard choice; and that she was taking it personally.

Even if I didn't see much of Annabeth, I still got to Iris message my mom, Sally Jackson. After hearing the news of my disappearance and comatose state, I had to make sure she knew I was perfectly healthy. It made me homesick speaking with her, and I had thoughts of visiting soon. She was well spirited and joyful about it all, and we agreed to keep in touch every week.

"Percy, it's time to go," Angel said, snapping me into the present. "Remember our deal?"

Oh, yes. How could I ever forget it? Max left to find her friends, and Angel decided to stay behind while I was in a coma. And to Angel, that meant I owed her big time.

We were outside, close to the Camp Half Blood entrance where Apollo died. Somehow, she had found me after my efforts to avoid her.

"No more wasting time. We are flying onto that roof, mister," She commanded, pointing to a lone building which stood on Camp Half Blood's fringes. It was old and abandoned, looking like it would cave in at any second.

"Alright, I'm coming," I said reluctantly, appeasing her slightly.

Her hair was in an updo today, a look that was created by the Aphrodite cabin. It made her look older, and exceptionally cute at the same time.

They grow up so fast.

Angel outstretched her white wings, in which I followed lead. It had been so long since I'd opened my wings, so it was a relief when I stretched them out.

"Just think about the wind, and urge your wings to lift you up. It's really simple," She said excitedly.

I nodded, already regretting this. Angel didn't seem to care that I was hesitant, and lifted herself off the ground. When she landed on the shack's roof, it barely creaked under her light body.

Knowing that I had no other choice, I brought my wings up, then forced them back down, all while jumping as high as I could. It didn't seem to work at first, and it was becoming harder to stay stable, until the wind picked up some slack. I found myself going to my desired destination, nonetheless too low to reach the top. My wings acted involuntarily to my alarm, flapping harder and harder. I was lifted even higher and dropped my wings at just the right time.
