Percy POV
The Erasers were faster than they looked, trickling in by twos and threes. Raven was already getting shots off, killing one instantly in the backline.  The shots rang in my ears, reverberating around my head. I've never used a gun in a full fledged fight before, and for two reasons. The first being that I had no aim, unlike the daughter of Apollo. And the second, because it was useless against real monsters. Unless Raven used celestial bronze bullets, I realized. Suddenly curious, I decided to ask her about it later.

I dodged a set of claws, swiping an Eraser's arm away with my dagger. Blood spurted out, hitting a bush to the left. I found myself ducking, another Eraser lunging with his jaws. His body slammed into mine, sending him hurling into the air. Before the last one could gain the upper hand, the familiar sound of Raven's gun went off. His head became bloody, eyes wide, before falling to the ground.

Raven gave me a proud smirk, reloading her gun quickly. An Eraser attacked her before she could, knocking her backwards. She recovered quickly, brandishing her dagger and stabbing the monster in the gut.

He roared in pain, swatting at her ferociously, but it was easily avoidable for her agile body. I came up from behind, stabbing him through the skull. His body fell, almost hitting Raven, but she dodged it.

After a couple of minutes, there were four left. One of the smart ones decided to call for backup, lifting his face to the sky and howling. It was a clear shot for Raven, and his head jerked backwards from impact, dead before hitting the grass.

"Nice one!" I holler, impressed by her aim.

She smirks, spinning around and smacking an Eraser that had snuck up from behind.

"Backup is coming! You two can't fight an army!" An Eraser yelled in my vicinity, throwing his body at me. I dodge easily, kicking my foot out and tripping him. Another Eraser from earlier came behind me, striking my arm with his claws.

I barely felt the pain, the warm blood trickling down my forearm.

"You'll pay for that," I snarled, slicing at his outstretched arm with my dagger. Despite the blood, the Eraser wasn't fazed. He grabbed a huge stick from the ground, throwing it at my face. With a surge of energy, I rolled away, then pulled up beside him.

He was so untrained and stupid, I laughed mockingly. The Eraser that I'd tripped had recovered, coming to help his buddy out.

In all of the action, I noticed my wings had appeared. They were graceful, keeping me well balanced and stable. I decided to keep them out, knowing it would be distracting to try and hide them.

The old moves I used with Riptide didn't work as well with the light dagger. Sometimes I would misjudge my speed, lunging too fast to fulfill a strike. A slight disadvantage, yet not enough to give the Erasers a winning edge.

When one of the Eraser's launched himself, making his neck vulnerable, I slashed his aorta viciously. He fell to his knees, whining and bleeding. I kicked him aside without remorse, paying attention to the next one.
