A PJO/MR Crossover (Sidenote: I wrote this story when I was 16. It is kind of cringey and cliche, so read at your own risk)

17 Years Later Location: New Rome The gods and goddesses were in an era of peace for the first time in centuries. Poseidon, the new ruler of the gods, made sure to present and implement reasonable laws. He was more involved all around, motivating the other gods to spend more time with their children.
He visited Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase in New Rome whenever he could. At times, Athena would join his company in order to see her daughter.
"Dad, Catia said a bad word!" A young boy, sporting black hair and green eyes, whined to his father.
"Did not!" Cried a teenage girl with light brown hair and hazel eyes.
The four of them were in their backyard on a spring afternoon. A picnic bench stood atop a concrete complex, shadowed by an umbrella to block the sun. The house behind them was gold and gleaming. A two story with ample space and room for the entire family.
Perseus Jackson dealt with the sibling fusses daily. However, being the ripe age of thirty-five meant coping with it calmly.
Or so, that's what Annabeth always said.
"Adrian, stop tattling on your sister. I'm trying to cook lunch," Percy said, flipping one of the burgers on the grill haphazardly.
Annabeth saw the commotion. She could sense negative emotion from miles away, especially in that of her children.
"What seems to be the problem?" She asked Catia and Adrien, without helping the small smile that tugged on her lips.
"It's alright, honey," Her husband spoke out. "It's just a little squabble."
After confirming she heard him, Annabeth turned back to face the two kids. This time a mischievous smirk formed on her face.
"Is daddy being grumpy again?" She asked them both in a whisper.
They both nodded, sensing a playfulness in her voice.
Annabeth took them over to the hose on the other side of the house. She knew Percy would assume she was giving the two a scowling.
"Then I guess it's time to load our weapons!" She said excitedly.
Catia and Adrian knew what she meant. It was something they liked to play on their father whenever he seemed stressed.
Annabeth procured water balloons from the garage, and helped her children fill them up.
************************* After inspecting the hamburgers to make sure they were done, Percy used a spatula to place them on four different plates. Catia hated cheese, so he left her's plain and topped the rest off. The grill, which was aging well, sputtered off at his command.
