Game Boy (Kenma x Reader)

○What happened?○

Kenma Pov:

(Y/n) tried to explain me that she was indeed talking about me. Why would she want to talk about me?

And with a blink of an eye, she started running. I was so confused.

I did believe that she was just saying that she had made a friend. I had thought about telling that to Kuuro too...

And I bet he would have the exact same reaction that (y/n)s' best friend had.... I know that he had noticed when I stopped everything that I was doing just to look at her. I know that he knows that I want to hug her and tell her how beautiful she was.

I didn't had to tell Kuuro for him to know. He is my best friend so he can really know what I'm thinking and feeling without me teeling him... just by looking at me.

I heard Daichi reading a message that he had just received out loud.

(Y/n) told him that she had gone home to study for an exam?

Was she embarassed? Should I text her? Am I a little ball of doubt? I guess so.

Wait. But I don't have her number and Kuuro doesn't have it too. What am i supposed to do? I can't ask Daichi for it, I'm too shy. What if Kuuro asked him?

-psttt... Kuuro? - I said almost whispering.

Kuuro was talking with Liev and with other Karasuno players. I hope he had listened me. Well, he hadn't.

I grab my phone and start texting him.

Kenma:

Kuuro. I need your help.

Kuuro:

Oi. Why are you texting me? You're like 3 meters away from me.

Kenma:

Can you come here please?

With that, Kuuro started walking towards me.

-Yo Kenma. What's up?

-I don't have (y/n)s' number and I have to talk to her....

- So cuteeeee.... Little Kenma wants to talk with his crush! What are you going to do? Ask her on a dat... Wait.
Where is (y/n)?

-Yes, that's the problem....

-Kenma....What have you done? For once you have a crush and you  decide to blow it off?

-I didn't blow it off!

-Well you didn't denied that she's your crush... -he said smirking.

-And she's not my crush!

Yet. I think.

-If you say so... Well, what's your plan to get her number then?

-I was thinking about asking it to Daichi. But I can't. I'm to shy for that...

-Oh no problem! I can ask for it then! Come with me.

Kuuro was being to nice with this... Strange.

We started walking towards Daichi and Kuuro asked him if he could come with us so we didn't had to talk with an audience.

-Ok Daichi, the thing is... Kenma wants (y/n) number.

Why Kuuro. Why.

Daichi was puzzled.

-Why tho? - he said kind of confused.

-Oi? I think someone is calling me. Talk to you later Kenma! See you Daichi!

Kuuro walked behind Daichi and lifted his thumbs up. Whyyyyyy.

Think Kenma. Think. I can't tell him that she's embarassed because of me. Or can I? But she told him that she went home because she had to study..

- (y/n) asked me if I could tell her somethings about Nekoma High and the people there. I gave her my number but she didn't give me hers. So I was thinking if you could give me it..?

Well, it wasn't a complet lie. She did ask me that. But that was not what I was going to talk about now.

-Oh! Of course then! Here it is!

He showed me (y/n)s' number in his phone and I saved it on mine.

I started walking towards where I had been sitting with (y/n) and started to text her.

What should I say?

I continue to write and decided to read what I had written:

Hey (y/n). This is Kenma. I asked your brother for your number. I know that you've runned home because you were embarassed or scared that I wouldn't believe you and think that you were talking about anything else. If it had happened with me I would feel the same. The point is... I'm like you. I don't have that easiness to make friends and when I make one, I'm really happy. I'm glad you're my friend and I'm glad you told me the truth so you don't have to worry. :)

Ok I guess. It's ok. And without overthinking it, I decide to send it.

10 pm? I guess it's getting late and tomorrow I have school.... I should go home now. Kuuro had already gone home.

With that, I put my phone back on my pocket and start walking home.
