Team Aeri [REWRITING]

Chapter Eight

I entered the cave that had the ladder to the elevator to... well you get it, right?

A few grunts past me since I was just standing there not moving, after snapping out of my thoughts I walked forward to enter headquarters.

I know I treat this like its a job, and not an organization.. well a team.. but that's because it really just feels like a job.

I go to my floor, enter my room, and get on the computer to monitor what is happening in the world at that moment to help prevent bad things from occurring.

Not what I'd call a normal job, but it still feels like one.

I climbed down the ladder and squeezed into the elevator with a few other people who were on Team Aeri.

It was an uncomfortable ride to the bottom, someone put a Pokemon in there which took more space. But the ride was better once the trainer returned that Pokemon.

When we reached the bottom we all made our way to the building as the elevator went back up for the next group.

The walk was pretty quiet except for two grunts, who were friends I guess, that were talking to each other.

We entered the building and made our way to the other elevator. But not me, even though I said 'we' I took the stairs because I didn't want to go in that elevator again.. it was so cramped...

I climbed up the stairs easily and made it to the top floor, I smirked when I saw the elevator hadn't got there yet, I was faster.

I entered my office room and sat down at my desk.

My room had a nice design to it. It had a shiny black desktop with a white base, a white carpet, and I decorated the wall myself.

One wall was a purple while the rest were white with different shades of purple in circle shapes scattered around

On the purple wall I had 5 pictures, and two plants.

The first picture was little 6 year old me with Haunter, though he was still a Gastly.

The second one was when I was a bit older, I wasn't only enough to be on my journey yet, but I was catching Shuppet, it had me throwing a pokeball and a Shuppet. So much time had past since Gastly was now Haunter and Shuppet was Banette.

The next one was in the middle, it was a family portrait. It had my parents on the outer side, me and Rachel on their shoulders. I was on my dad's Rachel was on my mom's and my brother was in the middle of us, it also had our family pet, Rockruff! He was in my brother's arms.

The fourth picture was me with all my Pokemon, this was a recent photo so it had me with, Haunter, Banette, and Rotom. I was going to change it to have Meowth in as well.

The final picture was with me hugging Rotom. I had a picture with all my Pokemon- almost all my Pokemon, when I first got them, so I got Rotom when I was eleven, meaning I was part of Team Aeri when I caught him. Rotom warmed up to me right away, unlike my other two. Meowth warmed up right away to! So no trouble with my most recent two.

The other walls had paintings I had done myself.. mostly of nature.

I had a nice fluffy rug in the middle Banette likes to sit on, but I have a feeling Meowth will take over the rug, if he doesn't take the couch.

Like I said, there was a little couch, it was a normal couch with nice fluffy pillows on it, next to one side was a small table, and on the other side, a mint fridge.

The fridge mainly contained food and drinks.. and lots of Jaboca berries.

I had a plant pot in the corner, a shredder under my desk, a storage bin next to my desk, an office chair to sit on, I also had a little trash can that I purposely put far away from my desk so I could take a little break by trying to get my trash into the bin... I usually fail..
