Team Aeri [REWRITING]

Chapter Twenty

         We have finally evacuated to our tents and now I am sitting in my sleeping bag, staying up later then the others.

Sparky and Bolt were sleeping side by side next to me, neither of them snore so that was a good thing for me.

I was up wondering what would happen after the mission. Would I say goodbye to Flo? Will I go back to Team Aeri to report? Probably, but what would happen then? I'd go on with my life like nothing happened?

I yawned and looked at my Poketech, 12:00 A.M. if I wanted to be productive tomorrow I needing to get to sleep.

I lay down in my sleeping bag but stayed awake a while longer, finally though I didn't actually know it, I fell asleep.

"Wake up!" Flo announced, leaping out of her tent.

I sleepily rubbed my eyes and wondered Wait didn't I just fall asleep? I checked my Poketech to make sure.

Nope, I had actually gotten sleep, it was 7 A.M. Bolt and Sparky jumped up at Flo's sudden announcement, Bolt sparked his cheeks getting ready to attack.

"No, Bolt, it's okay." I assured him. Bolt trusted me and stopped sparking.

Sparky then yawned because she wasn't in danger.

I unzipped the tent, and the tiny electric types ran out instantly and started playing.

A crawled out to, Max wasn't out yet.

Flo shoved a bowl of cereal in my face, "Here's your food! We need to try and make it to town by tonight!" She explained before skipping over to Max's tent.

I watched in curiosity over what she was going to do to wake Max. She slapped his tent really hard and yelled wake up again.

I herd a tiny scream from Max's tent, guess she did it then, Max cam crawling out with a bed head still.

My face had probably gone really red because I hadn't brushed my hair, or got dressed this morning.

I lightly placed my bowl on the ground so it didn't spill everywhere and ran back into my tent.

I scrambled through my bag for a little and pulled out a hair brush first, then my fake glasses case, then my clothing.

I quickly brushed my hair, threw my glasses on, and got my clothes on. My pajamas were pretty warm so I wasn't cold through the night even though winter is in like, 2 days.

I put my pajamas back in my bag, and put my shoes on again.

I slipped out with my bag in my hand and started taking down my tent.

I rolled my sleeping bag so that it was tiny and threw it into my bag, and then i folded my tent up and rolled it so it was smaller and placed it in the carrying case.

I zipped up my bag and I was fully packed up, I turned back to the dying fire and grabbed my bowl of cereal, quickly eating the rest of it and handing the bowl to Flo because I didn't know how to wash it.

Flo places it in a plastic bag along with hers and Max's, zipped it up, and put it away.

Max was taking down his tent while I just stood by the fire and listened to the sound of nature.

We waited for maybe 10 minutes until both Flo and Max were packed up.

Sparky and Bolt, having seen that we were ready to go scrambled over and climbed onto my shoulders.

The two electric mice waited happily for us to start moving. Flo called out Arcanine and jumped on.

"Wait Flo, I thought Arcanine couldn't carry us!" I said looking at her perched on the fire lion.
