Chapter Nine

Immediately after exiting the cave, the nerves settled in for me.

I could actually die on this mission, go to- to jail... how did I not think of this?

Wai- wai- wai- wai- wait.. I'm in full disguise.. who would recognize me? And I'm going on a journey! This is amazing!

I can't let Meowth out.. people will call the cops since I have a normal type and I'm a ghost trainer..

With all these thought processing through my mind, I began walking behind the cave.

Luckily there wasn't a huge forest behind, like the one I travel through to get home, it was a small forest that led to a city.

Since I was in the Jhoto region.. I wasn't in the region the government building was in.

I'd need to take a boat to Hoenn.. and go to a different dock to get to Unova! Easy...

If the boat to Unova wasn't on the other side of the entire Hoenn region... I'd have to travel through Hoenn to get to the government building.

I was walking through the small forest behind headquarters, and luckily no Pokemon protested against it.. they were just like 'oh a trainer.. normal.'

This forest had a beautiful pond area somewhere in the middle, but since it was almost winter the pond water was really cold. I splashed some on my face, and instantly regretted it.

The ice water mixed with the cold air was terrible.. I though my face would freeze off, honestly.

Don't even get me started on what happens when the wind blows.. it's terrible.

I was rubbing my face to keep it warm, and continuously wiped of freezing water.

When I first splashed the water on my face, I heard a Pokemon from behind me, trying its best to keep in laughter, but I heard some snorts.

When I walked away and it thought I was out of earshot.. it let all the laughter out, I was not out of earshot.

I rolled my eyes at the Pokemon and pushed my glasses higher onto my face.

They were really uncomfortable, I'm sort of used to it from when I go into town, but this was different. The glasses they gave me were not like the ones I had for my old disguise.

They were too loose, and hurt my ears, but hopefully I would get used to them, hopefully.

I thought about taking them off.. but they were crucial for my disguise, they made me look completely different.

I jumped over a small root sticking up from the ground and began thinking about companions.

If I do meet someone that asks my name.. I need a fake name for them, to be completely different. I thought to myself, and began pondering possible names.

Opal? Nah... hmm.. Yvonne!.. no... maybe.. Spring.. the opposite of Autumn! I laughed to myself at the thought, Autumn and Spring, completely different, but the same!

So it's decided.. I thought as I came to the end of the small forest. My name is Spring.. staring, now!

Obviously my Pokemon can call me Autumn.. not like anyone else can hear them..

I exited the forest and saw a beautiful town in front of me. Sadly, this was not the place I needed to be.. I had to be in a different part of this city for the boat.

The city wasn't very far away from the forest.. maybe.. 68 yards? Yeah not far.

I walked across the lush grass for a bit, it was unusually soft.. usually grass is really annoying.. I laughed a bit.. thinking about comfy grass.. I teased myself as the grass came to an end, and I was now in the street of the city.
