1. Pick 3 nail polish colors
2. Put something like liquid latex around your nail so you only get the polish on your nail. (If you don't have any cut the sponge to the size of your nail.)
3. In horizontal swipes take a makeup sponge and take the nail polish and make horizontal stripes. (Should be no white part in between colors.)
4. Quickly put the sponge on your nail because you don't want the nail polish to dry.
5. Cut the end of the sponge off so you can use it again.
