✁Sleeping in a bun can help prevent tangling and frizziness, since your hair won't be rubbing on your pillow so much, so it looks better in the morning! Sleeping in a bun can also prevent the oils from your face from going into your hair while you're asleep, so it also leads to less oily hair!
✁To get rid of frizz, add 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar to cool water, and wash your hair with shampoo, and then the apple cider vinegar. Let it sit in your hair for a few minutes, then rinse out, and condition your hair.
✁Use different hair masks for different uses! There's ones for hydrating, split ends, oily hair, etc. Find the right one for you, and it should help!
✁Hair perfume can make your hair smell even better!
✁Use leave in conditioner! It helps moisturize your hair, protects it, and detangles it!
✁Conditioning your roots can make it become greasy, since there's already oil being produced there.
✁Comb the conditioner through your hair before rinsing! Personally I find this to help with frizziness and to detangle my hair!
✁Avoid harsh products, because it can dry out your hair, and your scalp.
✁Some brands include what kind of shampoo/conditioner it is (ex. hydrating, repairing, etc.) so make sure to check the labels!
✁If you have dyed hair, use products meant for dyed hair.
✁Avoid heat styling often, because it can damage your hair.
✁Use a cotton t-shirt or microfibre towel to dry your hair instead of a normal towel, which is more harsh on your hair.
✁Wash your hair every 2-3 days, because washing everyday can throw off your scalps microbiome.
✁Dry shampoo absorbs excess oil, so it makes your hair look more clean! (Only use this when you need to, not instead of washing)
✁You only need about 10 milliliters of shampoo (2 tsp) and about conditioner the size of a quarter. If you follow this, you won't run out as quickly!
✁Trim your ends (1/2 inch) about every 12 weeks.
