Lonely Guardian of Konoha [Completed]

CHAPTER 11

After the exams finished the result sheet was hung on the board, sasuke was the shinobi of the year, Sakura the kunoichi of the year, and most of them had passed except for a few civilian kids. Naruto was at the bottom of the list, the least marks, but had passed, barely.

Now naruto was sitting on a swing in front of the academy, the parents of the kids had come to congratulate them, he could see mothers and fathers with proud smiles on their faces, even sasuke was accepted, most people respected and loved sasuke and thought of him as the last uchiha, naruto didn't understand, he was an uchiha too, why didnt he get the same treatment? Why did people always look angry when they saw him? Why did they call him monster and demon? He truly didn't understand, the kyuubi had locked away his memories, almost all of them, a full life locked away, but this new him, the new him wore a mask, a mask of happiness, and joy, the new him didn't care if he himself wasn't happy, if he could make someone's day a bit brighter, well then so be it.

The next day all of the students that had to come back to the academy to receive their teams, everyone had arrived and iruka sensei had given out the teams, sasuke, naruto, and Sakura were in one team, all the other jonin instructors had come and picked up their teams, but naruto's team instructor, kakashi hatake wasn't there even after two hours, and everyone was getting restless. Sakura was pacing, sasuke was standing there while naruto was screaming, cursing the instructor.

Sasuke was standing dangerously close to Sakura's path of travel, naruto saw this and got an idea, helmet that his bro, sasuke was crushing the banshee, and the banshee like him too, so why not have a good laugh out of it.

When Sakura was pacing towards sasuke, naruto came from behind sasuke and pushed him, making sasuke stumble and fall on top of Sakura, but that wasn't the best part, their lips touched, making them kiss. Naruto started laughing his head off as he rolled on the ground, both sasuke and Sakura were too dazed to move, or even think for that matter.

That was when they heard the door open, and a man will long gravity defying silver hair, a face mask and his headband covering his left eye took a peek inside, when he saw sasuke and Sakura his eye widened,

"Your first impression........... interesting" said kakashi as he stared intently at the couple who were still in the the same position, but had moved their heads apart. "Meet me on the roof" he said as he vanished in a puff of smoke.

"Hahaha, anyway il leave you love birds to it" said naruto barely controlling his laughter as he walked out of the room.

It was then that sasuke noticed the awkward position that he was in, he jumped up and away from Sakura, his cheeks red with embarrassment.

"I-I'm sorry, I-I d-didn't mean that, s-sorry" he muttered still blushing.

Sakura was also blushing as she looked at sasuke and remembered what had transpired, "don't be" she said shyly before giving sasuke a kiss on the cheek before running out of the room.

When sasuke finally got out of his daze, he went to the roof to see his new sensei, leaning on the railing while Sakura and naruto were sitting in front of him, as soon as he saw Sakura his face flushed red, as did Sakura's.

Kakashi intently eyed his new genin team, he first looked at the Raven haired uchiha, he knew the kids brother well, but even he didn't see it coming, then he looked at the pink haired kuinochi, and finally at the blonde, when he saw the blonde his eye widened a bit, the kid was kind of a copy of himself.

The kid was covering his left eye, just like kakashi, but he covered it with an eye patch, and wore his headband on his bicep, plus he had the signature mask that kakashi wore, and if that wasn't enough the kids hair, he had tried to grow it but instead of drooping down like it was supposed to it had stuck up in a gravity defying manner, if his hair had been silver, then he would be a carbon copy of kakashi, kakashi smiled at this remembering his rival and his rival's student.

Kakashi wasn't the only one who noticed it, Sakura was staring at both kakashi and naruto intensively. And sasuke smirked figuring out how he would get back at his brother for the prank he had pulled earlier in the classroom.

"OK, how about we introduce ourselves, you go first pinky." Said kakashi as he pointed at Sakura.

"Sensei, how about you go first do we know what to say" said Sakura trying her best to ignore the nickname.

"OK, I guess that's fair. My name is kakashi hatake, my likes, well I'll tell you when you are older, I don't have that many dislikes, hobbies are the same as likes, and dreams well I haven't really thought about that" concluded kakashi causing the genins to sweatdrop.

"My name is Sakura, my like are, a certain someone, my dislikes are a certain blonde and another blonde, my hobbies are to spend time with that someone, and my dream is....." with that she fainted with a bloody nose. During her whole intro she was looking at sasuke.

Kakashi face palmed thinking, ~great a fangirl~

"My name is sasuke uchiha, my likes are tomato's and a certain someone" he glanced at Sakura discreetly but was noticed by both naruto and kakashi, "my dislikes are many, my hobbies, well not much, and my dream is to rebuild my clan and bring a certain someone to justice"

Kakashi was glad that sasuke hadnt used the word kill, that meant that there was still hope for the young uchiha.

"My name is naruto uchiha, my likes are ramen, my friends and training, and my dislikes are traitors, my hobbies are to train, and my dream is to kill a certain traitor" the last part was said without emotion.

Kakashi was stunned, he couldn't know right? He was supposed to have forgotten there was no way, maybe he was speaking about someone else. Sasuke was also looking at naruto in a suspecting manner, before naruto suddenly broke into a laugh,

"Haha, you should see your faces, hilarious" shouted naruto causing everyone to facepalm.

"Well, see you tomorrow at 7 am at training ground 7 and don't be late, and by the way don't eat breakfast, you'll puke" said kakashi as he left via shushin.

Then everyone left, naruto left home saying he was tired and needed to sleep, but sasuke and Sakura were left alone.

"Hey Sakura" called sasuke, Sakura turned towards him.

"Hey, you wanna pull a prank on naruto?" Asked sasuke. Sakura thought about it for a while, everyone knew that naruto was the master prankster and pulling a prank on a master was like the last thing you wanted to do, but Sakura really wanted to get revenge for earlier, not that she didn't like it of course.

"What do you have in mind?" Asked Sakura, and sasuke just smirked.
