Lonely Guardian of Konoha [Completed]

CHAPTER 39

Izumo and Kotetsu were at their never ending gate duty, playing poker,

"Why the hell do we always get stuck at gate duty? Nothing fun ever happens at gate duty" complained Izumo

"You said that right before the invasion, my guess is every time you say that something special happens" replied Kotetsu concentrating on his cards,

Just as he said a voice sounded out from outside the gate,

"Open the gate dammit what the hell are you doing? I am being calm shikamaru!!"

When the two opened the gate they saw sasuke standing there fuming while shikamaru and Sai held a man/boy by his two arms, the person was obviously unconscious his red hair drooping over his face, he was tied up, evidently a prisoner,

"What's the purpose?" Asked Izumo, out of practice as it was procedure,

"We were sent on a mission" replied shikamaru, being vague as possible as he knew that the mission was to kept under wraps until said so,

The two gate guards nodded as they made way to the four of them to go through,

In order to keep this as secret as possible they would need to move fast overv the roofs, but they couldn't do so as they were carrying naruto, but shikamaru prayed that nobody would be able to identify the young man with his hair drooped over his face and dyed red with blood.

They walked through the road making their way to the hokage tower, all the villagers and shinobi looked at the prisoner with curiousness, whenever a prisoner was brought that would be immediately taken to the torture and interrogation unit but here was a prisoner taken to the hokage tower, this caused a lot of questions, but shikamaru and his team ignored them as they made their way to the hokage tower,

When they got to the tower, shizune was sitting at a desk near the door which was guarded by two ANBU,

"Shizune, we have completed our mission" said shikamaru, shizune nodded, while motioning for the gaurds to let them pass as she too went in alongside them.

Tsunade was at the desk working her way through a pile of paperwork, when she heard the door being opened, her eyes in need of a distraction darted towards it, seeing shizune, and the three shinobi she quickly stopped her work and went to meet them.

"Who's this? Another villager?" Tsunade failed to recognize naruto as he was slumped and his now red hair drooping over his face.

"It's naruto and these idiots won't untie him!" Screamed sasuke, obviously mad at the arrangement.

"What!? Tell me what happened" tsunade was surprised but she knew that shikamaru wouldn't do such a thing without a proper reason.

"Well the journey there was uneventful but as we reached the gate....." started shikamaru, throughout the whole discussion Sai kept silent,

After the story was said tsunade and shizune were both surprised and afraid to their very core, they never actually imagined that naruto was cold blooded enough to kill the whole of the iwa village, but what they heard made them genuinely afraid of naruto.

After the mission report there were 5 long minutes of awkward silence, for information to sink in. And after those five minutes the doors to the hokage's office were slammed open,

Tsunade narrowed her eyes at the man who entered in such a rude fashion, he had half of his face and right arm bandaged, the rest of his body was covered by a green robe.

"My hokage forgive me for my rude intrusion, I heard that there has been evidence of a blatant attack on iwa" said the man,

Tsunade gritted her teeth, she had become to hate this man to her very core sconce she had become the hokage, it was almost as if he was there at every moment to sabotage her career. But right now ahead no choice but to tell him the report as he was an elder and if she withheld information she would lose the respect of the council.

"What!? This is unacceptable, the council should discuss this and until then the kyuubi brat should be jailed"

Tsunade gritted her teeth yet again, he had totally overlooked her authority and ordered them around as if he was the hokage, and if that wasn't enough he had broken the rule of the third by calling naruto a 'kyuubi brat'.

At the word kyuubi brat the three youngsters immediately looked at Danzo with curious looks, then looked at naruto with even more of a  curious look.

Yo peeps I know that it has been a long time and this was an extremely short chappy, I'm sorry but imma stray the good fast chapter updating as soon as possible, I wanna thank all of you for staying with me all this time.
