Lonely Guardian of Konoha [Completed]

CHAPTER 35

It was a few days after the invasion, people especially shinnies were unbelievably busy, trying to rebuild the many buildings that the invasion had destroyed, naruto along with the other genin were also helping, everywhere you looked you could see at least one naruto working, the real naruto was helping choji's mom in the kitchen along with Sakura and ino,

Naruto was staring a soup he had made when choji's mom can around to take a taste of it to see if it was good,

"Oh my god naruto! You've got to give me this recipe, it's amazing" she shouted out,

"No problem" said naruto as he kept on stiring the soup,

Ino and Sakura seeing this slowly got closer to the soup and while naruto wasn't looking they tried to get a bit of soup to taste, but even before their hands could get near the pot naruto slapped their hands away without even looking at them,

"Oh come on! Just a little bit?" Asked Sakura pouting,

"Should've asked" said naruto simply as he grabbed a bowl and poured some for both of them,

Sakura and ino looked at the soup for a while before slowly taking a sip of it, after that their eyes went wide,

"Naruto! You never told me you could cook like this" scolded Sakura as she hit naruto on the head and kept drinking the soup,

"Well, I can cook well, all except ramen" said naruto sadly,

Suddenly an ANBU jumped in out of nowhere,

"Naruto Uzumaki, the hokage requires your presence" said the ANBU,

"Hokage?" Questioned naruto, after the death of shinobi a new hokage hadn't been announced yet,

"She hasn't been announced as hokage, but tsunade was appointed" replied the ANBU,

Naruto nodded as he removed his apron,

"See you guys later" said naruto as he leaped away along with the ANBU.

When he got to the hokage tower he told the ANBU to go, but he didn't step inside, instead he hid in the shadows of the tower, shikamaru, shino, sasuke were already there, and we're probably waiting for naruto, naruto stayed like that for about an hour before he jumped out of the shadows, holding a kunai to the hokage's (tsunade) neck.

"And the hokage is dead again" said naruto taking away his kunai,

"Very funny naruto, you know the invasion left us short staffed, anyway, you're late" stated tsunade annoyed,

"Oh you know, black cat, long path, lost in the path of life etcetera etcetera" said naruto,

"Oh, whatever, anyway, your here because due to the courage and skill you've showed during the invasion, you have all been promoted to chuunin" said tsunade as she started giving out the vests,

"Well thanks, but you know, places to be, see ya" said naruto but was stopped by tsunade,

"Wait, we received a message from iwa" said tsunade grabbing naruto's attention,

"Oh, is Haku's mission over, when is she coming back?" Asked naruto hurriedly,

"Well we haven't opened the envelop yet, we've been waiting to open it in front of everyone, sconce this is an important event to sign a treaty with iwa" said tsunade guiding them outside,

When they went outside there were civilians and ninjas all gathered in front of the hokage tower, then tsunade signaled an ANBU who dropped from the roof and handed her a tape, the tape was then inserted to a television like device,

The video crackled in black and white for a while before it showed colour, the video showed Onoki, the kage of iwa, he was sitting in an armrest facing directly the camera, then he spoke,

"I hope you are watching this naruto Uzumaki-uchiha-Namikaze, son of Minato Namikaze,my name is Onoki, the kage of iwa, ever since your father destroyed so many of us at the war we've been seeking revenge, but then he died, and we lost all hope, but a few years later, I started hearing whispers of a son, finally I had a way to get my revenge, revenge for my people, look closely son of the yellow flash, this is revenge" said Onoki,

Everyone was puzzled, this was supposed to be a talk about a treaty, if not why did Haku do on a mission to iwa,

The scene in the video changed, now it was a room, with a single table, Haku was tied onto it, naked, and men were defiling her,

Tsunade fumbled with the remote as she tried to switch it off, but she accidentally skipped the scene instead, the scene changed again, this time a torture room, Haku was being burnt alive, then Onoki came to the screen again,

"Well? How did you enjoy the show? A little birdy told me that that was your little girlfriend, but of course one life is not enough revenge for such a great loss as we witnessed, now, your village shall burn"

Then the tape ended, most of the attention was now on naruto who was frozen, standing, he fell to his knees, his hands supporting his weight, his face hidden from all others, suddenly he started laughing, in a maniacal manner,

"Hahahahahhahahaha! Death, is it not wonderful, the circle revenge goes round and round, and an army of a thousand marches to the valley of death, watch them fall, the blood shall pour, hahahahahahahahha" he shouted, as he stood up his eyes glowing a greenish yellow was seen by all, then with a flash of silver he was gone.
