CHAPTER 21

The next day, Zabuza had gotten up early and was walking around the house, when he saw Haku walking towards the kitchen, but she was limping. Zabuza shrugged it off as a injury and continued to walk out for his training.

Time skip : about a week

A week of d ranks, made team kakashi a very noisy bunch, well most of them, or half of them, right now, team kakashi had just given a report of how they captured tora, and was done for the day,

"Great, come by tomorrow we have a wide range of d rank missions" said the hokage smiling,

"I'm tired of these stupid D ranks give us something good!" Shouted sasuke whole Sakura screamed something from behind him.

The hokage sighed and looked at both kakashi and naruto who were leaning on the wall in the exact same stance and were reading their books. Then the hokage sighed again before replying,

"I'll see what I can do, now you all are dismissed but naruto, stay for a while."

Everyone left except for naruto who just put his book in his pocket before facing the hokage,

"What is it gramps?"

"Well, I think it's time for you to know about your parents" said the hokage, expecting the boy to be jumping with joy,

"I already know who they are" naruto said, his eye not betraying any emotion.

"W-what? H-how? Who told you?" Asked the hokage, evidently and obviously surprised.

"Pervy sage told me" replied naruto,

"Where did you meet him, when?"

"When I left the village for training"

The hokage nodded and sighed in defeat,

"Oh, yeah gramps since we're on the subject, I want to add my dads name to mine, make it, Naruto Uzumaki-uchiha-Namikaze. And also I want a public announcement about my heritage" said naruto,

"Are you sure? Your father had many enemies" asked the hokage concerned,

"It's no problem, when can you do it?"

"Tomorrow, and before I forget, your dads left this for you" said the hokage while taking out a scroll from one of the many drawers in his table, he threw it to naruto

"Thanks gramps, and don't worry I'll open it when I'm alone" replied naruto as he ran out of the office.

Naruto got home, and went into his room to open the scroll, Haku had gone on a mission since she was a chuunin now, she didn't have to take the test because she was in the bingo book, naruto opened the scroll, it was a basic storage scroll, when he opened it two other scrolls appeared, one was bright yellow, and needed blood of a certain person to open, and the other was just an ordinary white scroll, naruto decided to open the yellow one first,

When he opened it, his eye widened realizing the valuable secret it held, the scroll held the formula for the hirashin, his father's personal jutsu and one of the most dangerous ones, naruto quickly closed it resolving to learn it some other day. Then he proceeded to open the other scroll, it had instructions, to find a vault in the Uzumaki-Namikaze compound, the two compound were combined because his parents were the last of both clans. He resolved to check that out as well when he moved into the compound.

The next day all the shinobi and civilians were gathered in front of the hokage tower by the hokage's orders, the hokage was staring there waiting to give an announcement,

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to give you an important announcement, it is about the yodaime hokage, minato Namikaze, he had a son before he died but the son's identity was hidden until this day due to safety reasons, today we will be giving his true name" said the hokage smiling

The villagers suddenly started to applaud and cheer, their saviour and great late hokage's son, he would be a shinobi,

"The boys name is naruto Uzumaki-uchiha-Namikaze" said the hokage as naruto stepped up, and stood next to the hokage,

Then the villagers started to shout in protest,

"There's no way that's our hokage's son"

"That's a demon"

"Our saviour would never have a demon as his son!"

"He probably corrupted our awesome hokage and forced him to say that"

Saying such things the villagers continued to antagonize and disrespect the villagers. But they were stopped by a massive amount of killing intent directed at them, by the hokage,

"This is the truth weather you accept it or not, from now on naruto will be given the Uzumaki-Namikaze compound as his birthright." Saying this the hokage retreated into his office causing the civilians to focus their attention on naruto, but soon they started to disperse as naruto was protected by many shinobi.

Later that day naruto and Zabuza moved into the Uzumaki Namikaze compound,
