CHAPTER 27

After the scheduled five days, it was finally the day that the second exam ended, all the passing genin which seemed to be the rookie nine, team Gai, sand team, sound team and one other leaf village team of Kabuto's was gathered at the hall in the tower, with the hokage, team instructors standing in front of them.

"Welcome, and congratulations on passing the second exam, now-"

The hokage was cut off by a jonin that dropped from who knows where, he had symptoms of sleep deprivation and a severe case of cough,

"Lord hokage, *cough* may I?"

"Of course" replied the hokage,

"We have too many who passed the exams, so we are going to *cough* have a preliminary, right now, *cough* and if you think you as not up to it please, leave now *cough*" said the jonin.

After this Kabuto left, saying that he was too tired and his chakra was exhausted, and now it was time for the first match.

Sasuke pov

Sasuke vs yoroi

Yes! I'm first sand I got a stupid no name leaf genin, he looks easy enough, I smirked as I got ready to jump into the stadium before I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked back to see naruto looking at me intently,

"Don't underestimate your opponent" he said, does he know something about this guy?

Well whatever let's just get this over with, I jumped into the stadium,

"Begin!" Shouted the proctor,

I instantly jumped into action kicking the guy and making him stumble, I used this opportunity to get his left arm into a lock, I smirked knowing I had nin cornered.

But what I didn't expect was him smirking back at me, as soon as I saw him smirking I knew that something was wrong, then his left hand which I was holding in a lock got covered in blue flames, then I knew something was really wrong,

So I did what any man with dignity do, I let go of the stupid arm and jumped back assessing the situation, he was using some kind of chakra on his hands, probably enhancing his punches or whatever, I'll just make sure he doesn't hit me, easy peasy, right?

I jumped at his unleashing a flurry of punches, but he caught the last one in his hand, now both of his hand were covered in blue chakra flames, holding one of my fists in his left hand he used his other hand to hold my head,

It was unbelievable pain, I felt as if my insides were being sucked out of me, and then he loosened the grip, throwing me away from him like a piece of trash,

No, it can't end like this, that no name can't beat me! I am an uchiha! Losing isn't in my blood!

"Hey no name, that all you got?" I asked as I stood up, my legs shaking, I felt as if I was totally out of energy, I had enough chakra for one move,

I guess I should thank naruto for teaching me this one,

I punched the confused guy in the face and gave him a slightly chakra powered uppercut that sent him into the air, before he even started to be effected by gravity I appeared on top of him driving him into the ground and effectively knocking him out!

"Winner, sasuke uchiha" the proctor called out,

I felt myself falling, but I was caught by someone, I looked up do see my brother, naruto standing there, with that eye smile of his, I gave him a huge grin,

"See? Easy peasy lemon squeezy" with that I was knocked out,

Shino pov

Shino aburame vs Zabuza abumi

It's my turn, it's quite annoying, the guy I'm fighting, it's a sound nin, nobody knows much about them, and this one especially gives our a bit of a annoying look, my bugs on the other hand, they seem excited, excited for battle,

I got down to the arena, the boy in front of me, had black hair, and sound clothing, but he didn't seem to have any weapons on him, that would mean he's a ninjutsu user mainly, so my kikai bugs would be quite useful in this scenario,

As soon as the proctor announced the beginning of the match my enemy pounced at me, engaging me in a taijutsu match-up, seems I was a bit wrong in my deduction that he is a ninjutsu user, but no matter, adaptation is a necessary skill,

I made sure he kept his attention on me while I slowly let my bugs surround him, and at the last moment, I willed all of them to pounce on him, draining his chakra, it's too bad that he didn't get to use any of his real techniques, but it's his fault for underestimating me,

Third person pov

After that the rest of the matches went as planned,

Hinata vs Neji -Neji wins

Yo guys, it's been some time hasn't it, I'm still a bit in the old mindset, but don't worry, I'll get back to that old self fast, and I checked naruto pedia for these matches, sorry for not giving you word by word what happened in the matches, but it's the same as the anime, and also I'm bad at fighting scenes, anyway, I'll see ya soon, hopefully, love you all,
