Target Practice [Takumi x Reader]

Ah epicface752. I knew you'd be here before long. So let's get on with our little STORYTIME!!!

You pulled back the arrow, letting it loose and fly towards the target. The wind only threw off the sim slightly. You hit the first circle. You smiled wide and let the bow down, opening your view towards the target in full. You had just master classed, gaining a second weapon of a bow. You were training to on be able to use it acdurately. You wanted to be a useful asset to the Hoshidan army, and archery was the first step of getting there.

That's when you heard slow clapping behind you. You turned and saw the long haired pineapple himself, Takumi, standing there. He rolled his eyes and stood up straight, not leaning on the tree any more. 

"You're happy with that precision? Don't be. That's pathetic. Here, gimme."

You knew that Takumi was just in a sour mood today, so you didn't take offense to anything. You'd also be in a sour mood if you're mother was recently killed because of a long lost relative you didn't care that you had or not. Takumi took the bow you extended out towards him and you handed him an arrow. He sighed at the quality of the Bow. E rank weapons were terrible. He took the arrow.

He pulled the string back, accounting for the wind dynamics. A slight breeze due west. Aim slight east. He did just that and he let loose the arrow, hitting the bullseye on the target. He shoved the bow back in your arms, still grouchy about everything that was happening in his life. He huffed and looked at your face, entirely in awe and smiling. He smirked. Yeah. He needed that feeling of being admired right now.

"Woah! That's so awesome Milord! Uh..."

You took another one of your arrows. You pulled it back to your cheek and tried to angle your bow precisely at the same angle Takumi used to fire his arrow. You took a deep breath and let the arrow go, flying through the air to hit the target. It was just a little bit shy of the direct bullseye Takumi got prior to your shots.You turned around with a bright smile on your face to see Takumi with his arms crossed and a smile on his lips. You exictedly bounced on the balls of your feet and grinned proudly. 

"I did it! I did it!"

Takumi smiled and just nodded with you.

"Yeah, you did it."
