Tell Me! [Izana x Reader]

My underrated Izumoan Boi! He deserves love! If I do a writing challenge for the Hoshidan# (and Izana), would you do it? STORYTIME!

You took a brush through the archduke's long white hair. No wonder he win best hair so many times, it was so soft! You smiled and hummed as you brushed it through, just getting a feel for it. You were sitting in your knees behind him as he was just talking on and on. You liked listening to his stories and doing his hair. It was starting to become a Tuesday and Thursday night tradition between the two of you. Best friends! Hasta la A support baby! 

"Then Felicia started talking to me about her fourtune to see if she will ever be a good maid! I'm not usually for those small fortunes but I decided to do it anyways! Sometimes this Astral Plane can can be so boring! So I saw that she would forever be clumsy, but at least she'd be married to someone who loves her anyways! I told her that and she got super flustered! It was absolutely adorable!"

Izana snickered, thinking back to the ditzy maid's face that went into utter shock before she pestered him to reveal the name of her future husband. Too bad Izana kept it unde rlock and key! She will just have to wait for fate to take care of it. He smiled and sighed, feeling the brush go through his hair. You were a really good brusher! No wonder Kaden comes over every Wednesday to have himself groomed by you.

You know what? Izana has been super selfish! He's been telling stories every day but never once did he ask you what happened in your day or I felt you had any stories to share! That's just mean! And there is no way in any kingdom ever that Izana would be a mean guy! He waited for you to stop humming whatever song under your breath to fill the silence before he talked. Why he waited? He liked your humming!

"Hey! You never tell me any stories! Go ahead! Tell me a story! Tell me!"

You couldn't help but smile at how energetic he was. He was really excited to hear a story, wasn't he? Wow, you didn't have anything prepared! You really don't have anything interesting going on with you. The most interesting moments in your life are always when Izana is around. That's when you thought of something. What if you make beleive a story?

"Can I make it up?"

Izana pouted. You really don't have any cool stories? Nothing like the adorable Felicia story or the running into Xander and Ryoma sitting right next to eachother in a comoketley empty hotspting? Oh thst story was good and steamy. But seriously, nothing like that? He slumped down and sighed, feeling his hair being tugged a little bit because you tried keeping it in the same place.

"Fiiiiiine."

You smiled. Alright, no way what kind of story do you want to tell? It can be a classic prince and princess story. Oh! It can be a valliant hero fighting evil! Like a dragon! No he probably heard that story of the hero king before. You don't want to have Izana waiting too long. You know what? Yolo! Improve it! 

"Once upon a time there was a kind, carefree man. Everybody loved him and he loved everybody.  He was a major passivist and he had the best hair that anyone has ever seen! He had one friend who would follow him to the ends of the earth. That friend wasn't nice loved by everyone and didn't love everyone. That friend wasn't as carefree, but the two were best friends anyways."

Izana knew exactly what you were doing. You were making up characters to represent the two of you! And what do you mean everyone doesn't love you?! You're, like, the most lovable person out of all the lovable people! Not including himself of course. He decided just to listen for now. He wondered where this was going.

"Now the carefree man was super kind to his friend. They'd hang out all the time and despite them being socially unaccepted, they even shared the hotspings together. They had lots of fun when they were together. But when the friend wasn't with the man, they weren't okay. They felt sad. They missed the man every second he wasn't there. The friend felt like nothing without him. The friend-"

Izana cut you off. He forgot you were a negative Nancy when it came to your self esteem. Izana turned around and had you stand up with him. The brush fell to the ground. He opened his eyes to look directly on yours. Yep. You were definitely talking about yourself. Well, we can't have thst now can we?!

"Well that friend will just have to never leave the man's Side now will they?"

He watched you blush. Awww that was adorable! All the more reason to keep you with him forever! What? It's not like it's a surprise you fell in love with him! The gods are picked you two as soulmates! This was just doing it how humans do it. Falling in love. Izana took your hands and leaned closer towards you. You were panicking but at the same time you didn't move. You didn't want to. This was great.

"I love you."

Aaaaaaaand to smoochville you ride!
