It's a Wonderful Nohr Life [Forrest x Reader]

I'm so sorry about today! I had no free time! I know, I know, no excuses. Then it must be STORYTIME!!!

You climbed up the tall, dark building. There was a lone window at the top surrounded by the tall bare trees of what Nohr called its plantlife. So barren, so dead. Just like the country after the war with Hoshido, leaving them in shambles after Corrin betrayed them for Hoshido. Whatever. That's enough pointless exposition. Back to what you were doing.

So you were scaling the holding to get to a very pretty prince at the top. Forrest stood in the window, looking around. WHere could his favorite little fugitive have gone? You we're his only connection to the outside since his father, King Leo, was far too protective of the only heir to his throne. The only heir his mother gave before she died during the war.

Forrest smiled when he saw your hand get onto a branch, hoisting yourself up onto it instead of the cold, rugged bricks of the tower. Forrest twirled a curl of his elegant hair in his finger, smiling cutely. Like we  Girl when they have a crush on the guy they are talking to. You smirked at him and crossed your Arms.

"So, What's new pussycat?"

You jicnnamed him pussycat because he was just like a pet cat: spoiled, prim, gorgeous, and pampered with a capital P. Forrest just giggled cutely, which you absolutely adored. Okay, side tangent, but Forrest's little laughs are the most adorable things ever and you could live just on those laughs and giggles alone. Side tangent over. Forrest slumped his face on his hand in the windowsill, staring almost dreamily at you. 

"There's nothing new around here, unfortunately. Same routine, same tower, same overprotective father."

You rolled your eyes. That king Leo had no right locking his son in the castle And refusing him to interact with a kingdom he would someday be forced to rule! It just made no sense to you. But wait a second. That's when you got an idea. A brilliant idea it was. A thievish idea it was. A perfect idea for a fugitive streetrat like you.

Wait, can we appreciate the irony here? A streetrat and a pussycat? This is basically Aladdin and tangled mixed together. Just have Aladdin meet Repunzel and that would be this oneshot in a nutshell. Ripped off Disney story with elements of Fates in it. Okay that's enough fourth wall breaking for now. We should get back to the story. Where were we? Oh right! You had a little scheme!

"Hey, What's if I sneak you out? Show you the world? The wonderful life of Nohr?"

You watched as the beautiful prince grew a smile. His whole face lit up like a torch when the fire had just been ignited. He clapped his gloved hands together in joy. Now this was a little image you can just keep forever in the photo album that was your memory. It was too cute not to remember! Aaaaaaaaaand... saved! Alright! On with the story!

"Oh joy! Wait, you can do that? That would be amazing!"

Forrest didn't need to ask twice. Surely he could easily sneak around those retainers of his and go on a little adventure with you, right? He deserved to see all of Nohr! And who better to show him around than the very person who has scoured every inch of the kingdom? Sure, it wasn't really good intentions and you have a pretty handsome bounty on your head, but he'd much rather spend the day with you than another hour in this boring tower! He was well out of books to read! You reached out your hand to the prince. He blinked and looked up at you with confusion. You chuckled.

"Do you trust me?"

Forrest didn't need to hesitated. He grabbed your hand without second thought, jumping onto the windowsill and flinging his arms around. He grabbed your second hand and looked back in your eyes to see you smirking.

"Good answer."
