"Tony, where were you and Wanda?" Steve asked for the millionth time as he entered the lab. He slowly walked up to the lab desk that Tony was sitting at as he took in Tony's tired appearance. "How long have you been down here?"
Tony clenched his jaw as he avoided the first question by simply picking up his tablet, shooting the holographic diagrams up in front of him. "Not that long."
"Sir had been down here since nine in the morning yesterday," FRIDAY answered for him.
Tony grunted. "Fucking traitor."
Steve sighed. "You and Wanda wander off while the whole facility is on lockdown because Jade escaped her cell, and no one has found her."
Tony whipped around. "She was with Wanda and me. She wanted to go after Ivanov on her own and get the notes on her chip so she could have me fix her, but Agent Forty-Four wouldn't give her the location unless she went with people that would listen to her and not throw her back in that cell." Tony tapped the edge of the tablet against the table. "Oh, if you're wondering, we killed Ivanov. We no longer have to worry about him anymore." He gestured between him and Steve with an annoyed and tired expression. "God, will you give me some space."
Steve slowly backed away from Tony. "So, where's your daughter?"
"She died with him," Tony whispered, staring off into space. "Along with the notes."
"I'm sorry, Tony."
Tony pointed to the holograms that hovered in front of them. Steve lifted his eyebrows in question as he walked around the table, and he stood behind Tony. "I scanned her bionic chip on the way there and looked at its structure," Tony said with fascination. "Look at all the abilities she was able to obtain and use. God, she even has an ability that was locked but somehow could've been unlocked." Tony held up a finger as he slid onto the next diagram. "The chip is permanent. Even if we wanted to take the bionic chip out from the back of her neck, we couldn't."
"What are you going to do with this information?" Steve asked curiously. "She's gone."
Tony smirked. "I'm going to replicate it."
"I'm sorry, did you say—"
"Cap, we could use these abilities on missions," Tony interjected, pointing at the holographic diagrams. "HYDRA made these abilities specifically for different situations for her to get out of and successfully get the job done without any witnesses and that much trouble. You know how many innocent people will be left undead if we had these bionics at our disposal?"
Steve sighed, running a hand through his short blond bangs. "Natasha said that there were notes on her chip at the base. Did you get them?"
"We did, but they were with Jade."
Steve shook his head. "Look, Tony, I don't think implanting a bionic chip into one of us is a good idea."
Tony snapped his fingers at an idea. "How about I put it inside one of my Iron Man suits?"
"That's even worse than a human being," Steve replied nonchalantly.
Bradley ran into the lab, breathing heavily. "An intruder entered the gates; they're heading towards the facility."
Tony and Steve exchanged looks before the hands of the Iron Man suit attached around both of Tony's wrists and hands. They rushed up to the main area as agents got their guns and marched towards the facility's front.
"This is a code-thirteen! I repeat a code-thirteen!"
Jade used her molecular kinesis to swing open the main doors as she walked inside the facility. She turned her head side to side, looking for Tony and Wanda. Agent Hill cautiously walked up to her, a handheld gun aimed at Jade. "You're—"
