[47] Break In

The sirens went off, ringing in Jade's ears. Red emergency lights flashing on the walls as men shouted out orders at each other over the P.A. system or their comms unit. She was dressed as her alter ego, where people didn't know who she was. Yes, the world knew about Nightshade but never knew what Nightshade looked like. She was in and out within minutes, and if there were any witnesses, she killed them. She brought back the bunny ear mask as she snuck up behind a guard, punching him down on the floor. She heard him grunt and looked up at him. Jade sent him an apologetic smile before kicking her heeled boot to his face.

After when Steve went to Wakanda to drop Bucky off, Jade and Tony went to the compound. She snuck back inside, coming to the idea to break her friends out of the Raft Prison. She took her mask and left with a blink of an eye.

Jade heard a thud of footsteps coming her way. She turned around and spotted armed men marching in her direction. She groaned. "Hello, gentlemen."

They continued. She sighed as they stopped and pointed their rifles at her, staying silent. Jade nodded, understandingly. "What the hell are you?" One of the armed men yelled out.

"A seventeen-year-old that just wants to break her friends out of jail," Jade confessed as she grabbed the nearest desk chair and threw it at them. It knocked down a few while the others fired at her. Dived and dodged, blocking most of them. The other bullets missed her completely.

Jade grabbed the end of one gun and twisted it so that the armed guard dropped it. She kneed him in the stomach before grabbing his back and tossing him into his companions. Jade swung his foot up, and it connected with another's jaw, making him stumble down.

She ran inside where the cells were at, and the sound of thumping footsteps got the attention of the rest of the Team Cap members. Jade slowly walked up to Sam's cell and peered inside.

Sam looked her up and down with shock, but the anger lingered in his eyes from her siding with Tony. He never expected her actually to break them out.

Jade flashed him a small smile. "Hello, Sam."

She gripped her fingers around one of the metal bars in front of the glass cell before she used her strength to rip it out of its place. Sam watched, impressed before he backed away as she slammed the end of the metal bar into the glass.

After the third blow, the glass broke into million pieces, and Sam walked out of his cell. "You shouldn't be here."

Jade sighed as she handed him the metal bar so he could get Clint out of his cell. "I may disagree with you, but I'm not a cruel person to let you rot in the underwater prison. After the past couple of days, it may seem like a shock, but we were once friends."

Sam's dark eyes scanned Jade's form. "I know."

"So help me free your teammates," Jade remarked, walking over to Scott's cell.

Scott was sitting down, his head leaning back against the wall and his eyes closed. Jade gently tapped on the glass, and his eyes instantly opened. Scott looked up at her, and Jade waved at him. His eyes widened, startled when he saw a girl in a black bunny ear mask. He stood up in shock. "Who are you?!"

Jade stayed silent as she squeezed her fist shut and continuously punched the glass, soon spider scratches showed up. Jade gave it one last punch before the glass shattered.
