Just a quick note from the author: I think the writing gets better I'm not sure. The spelling and errors may not get better IDK but boi lemme tell you it's and emotional rollercoaster and may contain some weird paranormal stuff at some point. As always stay alive frens ||-

It was a cold night and there was a slight drizzle. You were heading east, making your way through Dema. Shadows loomed around your path making you fearful. You stopped suddenly hearing voices ahead. You peered around the corner and saw a man facing a bunch of others. They were all wearing something yellow.
You were listening to them, waiting for them to leave. They were talking about escape plans and you were tempted to join but you don't know these people. They could get you caught and that scares you more than anything. They start to leave and you do to. You make sure to keep a distance. You hate that you are, but you're following them. Someone had gave you directions but it's hard to remember them, and this is just a lot easier. You're freezing and you're trying to stop your teeth chattering. You are very scared you're being too loud. You move slowly watching your step, making sure you don't step on anything that will make a lot of noise. You feel scared and alone, hands and feet freezing as you keep moving. They all head into a large building, making it hard to keep track of them and not get caught. You're mind races terrified it's a trap and you'll get caught. You wait a couple of minutes before you decided that you'll follow them in. Just as you start walking towards the door you see them. The bishops. You dodge around the corner praying that they didn't see you. You peer around the corner and see that they are going in the same building the group did. Moving forward would be the worst idea so you head into a small abandoned shed with a tiny window for the night. It may not be the safest but there's no way you'll go back. If you go back you may stay there just out of fear. You lay under a small table that was there and try to use your bag as a blanket. You're starving and freezing but you're exhaustion is far more strong. Your muscles relax and your eyes get heavy. Just as you're about to fall asleep you hear a loud scream. You jump and sit up forgetting you're under a table and hit your head. Cursing you get out from underneath the table and look out the small window. It's the guy that met up with the group earlier. He's running full speed away from the building they had went in. Fear strikes hard when you realize he's running towards your building. You scramble around looking for god knows what. You don't even know what you're looking for. The door bust open and slams closed. He looks at you wide eyed.

"Who are you?" You croak.

It's been ages since you've spoke.

"Shh be quiet" he shushed you.

He looks through the window and quikly dodges down.

"Come here. Get down." He says urgently

You do as he says but very quietly. Your heart beating fast and breathing heavy. He keeps taking peeks through the window and each time he acts more calm which eventually makes you calm. You take this time to study his features. His hair is shaved and...well thats all you really care to notice.

"They're gone." He says out of nowhere

"Who? The bishops?" You reply

"Yes. I'm sorry I didn't know you were in here. I wouldn't have put you in danger like that."

"It's fine. I know this isn't important but what's you're name?"

"Tyler. Yours?"

"(Y/N). How'd you get separated from the group?"

"How'd you know I was with a group?" He says a little worried.

"Long story short, I'm trying to get out of here and I overheard you guys were too. So I followed you. I'm sorry"

"It's fine but why didn't you just come up to us?"

"I didn't know who you guys were, you know there's no trust in dema."

"You can trust the banditos, they're here to help us out. I keep trying and every time I think I've escaped I keep getting dragged back." He says

"I've never really tried."

"We should really get some sleep. We'll take shifts, I can look out first."

You hesitate at first but finally agree and lay down. You had just met Tyler but you felt a lot safer. You trust him for some reason and your starting to feel hope. Your heart feels lighter and you start to relax.

All of a sudden Tylers shaking you awake.

"(Y/N), wake up. It's time to go."

Confused you sit up and look around. You're surrounded by a bunch of people you've never seen before. The banditos. Tyler didn't wake you up for your shift.

"Tyler, you didn't wake me up for my shift." You said

"You needed sleep." He said

"So did you."

"I'm fine. No more arguing, we need to go."

With that a man helps you up and gives you some yellow tape.

"Hi, I'm Josh. Put that on." He says smiling. "It's time to get you guys out of here."
