You move fast, leaving the bandito camp. You get far enough and stop to read Clancy's notes. It's mostly about his stay in dema. You finally get to the part where he escapes.
"Trench"
In Clancy's notes he talks about hiding in the caves along trench. It also seems around the time Nico captured Tyler. He might not be there still but it's worth a try. Or is it? Would you really let a man back in dema to suffer?
Frustrated and scared, you let your tears fall down. You bite your lip to stop the sobs. You know what it was like in dema, but your friends are suffering.
~TYLERS P.O.V~
I wake up on the cold, hard ground. I reach for something to as I pull myself up. I was confused for a moment on why I was on the ground but it suddenly hit me. I start to panic when I realize that (Y/N) isn't here.
"Josh!" I yell at him
I shake him awake
"Are you okay?" I ask him
He squeezes his eyes shut and opens them.
"Yeah I'm fine. Where's (Y/N?)" He asks
"I don't know. I'm going to go ask around. Pack bags just in case" I tell him
Without question he starts to pack two bags.
I leave the old, empty house and head towards the main part of the bandito camp. They're hundreds of banditos and they all seem to hang out around an old rotten park.
I walk through the crowd asking around for (Y/N). Nobody has seen her and that worries me. Especially since we had a visit from Listo last night.
I head back to the house to find Josh. I walk in and see that he is ready to go.
"Anything?" Josh asks
You shake your head.
"We'll find her" he says
Josh hands you a bag and we head out.
"Where to?" Josh questions
"Dema. Listo might have her" I tell him
~YOUR P.O.V~
You've made your decision. You'll find Clancy. Listo threatened to kill everyone, you can't let him. It's one person to save a hundred.
You head towards Trench to search the caves. If he's not there then you'll have to go back to tell Listo. This world is too big to search everywhere.
It felt like forever walking in the cold. The sun is just starting to rise but the temperature drops as the winds pick up. You start shiver when you reach Trench. You quickly move into the first cave you see, mostly to protect you from the winds.
You hear the rain start to pour as you move farther into the cave. You reach in your back for a lighter to use as light. You try to search for signs of someone living here.
Just as you were about to give up and turn around you hear a noise. It almost sounded like footsteps.
"Who's there?"
Your voice shakes
Right after you said that a tall man with black hair emerges from the darkness.
"Clancy?" You ask
He laughs
"Wrong"
"Then who?"
You ask
"Listo"
"What? I don't understand"
"You fell for it" he says "so desperate to save your friends"
"Fell for what?"
"We never cared about Clancy, it's Tyler we really want and thanks to you he's on his way to dema. Now I just have to get rid of that other guy"
"Why Tyler? Why do you want him so badly?" You cry
"Ask him" he rolls his eyes "he's the one who created everything here, right?"
