You arrive at the main building of Dema and kick the door open. Clancy stays outside.
"Where is he?" You yell.
Nobody in sight.
You snoop around, pushing doors open, not bothering to close them.
"Tyler!" You yell.
You find stairs that go down into a basement. You quietly tip toe down and catch a glimpse of a body. Adrenaline running through you rush down stairs.
You move even faster when you recognize the man.
"Tyler! I'm here, we got to go!" You plead him to move.
You rush over and kneel beside him.
"Tyler?"
Tyler is laying on his back, hands across his chest, and gazing up at the ceiling.
"What are you doing?" You ask him
"I don't know" he replies blankly
"Well, get up, we got to go," you tell him
"Why? It's perfectly fine here," he says
"If he wants to stay, let him stay"
Listo walks out in Josh's body.
"What did you do?" You ask listo
"Nothing," listo claims "oh, by the way here's this,"
Listo hands you the notebook.
"We got everything we want, so we won't be needing the notebook," listo says
You hold the notebook that is now useless, now that Tyler is sleeping. Tyler had always been awake, he's never fell into the hands of the bishops. You were too late.
"Oh! and welcome home, you're friends are here too. They were aggressive though so we had to calm them. Also the gates are locked, including the east. Have fun!"
Listo disappears.
Your heart beats fast and tears start to build up.
Tyler gets up from the cold floor.
"Follow me," Tyler says
You follow Tyler out of the main building and into the old rotting apartments that everyone basically lives in. You see all the banditos make a line into the building. You catch a glimpse of Clancy and you grab his arm.
"(Y/N), what's going on?" He asks
"We're trapped, Clancy. Tylers asleep and so are all the banditos. The east exit is closed, I'm freaking out man" you're shaking at this point.
Clancy pulls you into a hug.
"We'll figure it out, I promise. There is always a way,"
Tyler is waiting for you patiently. You and Clancy follow him into apartment 105. Everything on the inside is grey but surprisingly clean. The lights work and there's food.
After everyone settles in, except Clancy who's still pacing, you decide to ask Tyler a few questions.
"How're you feeling?" You ask
He shrugs his shoulders.
"Aren't you worried about Josh?"
He shrugs
"Weren't you worried about me"
He looks up at you
"Of course" he whispers
Clancy stops pacing and gives you two a weird look.
You pull out the notebook.
"I need you to do something"
You say
He grabs the notebook.
"Of course! The notebook!"
He surprisingly gets excited.
Suddenly his smile fades.
"What?" You ask
"The Only way to undo this is to destroy this world"
Tyler says
"Exactly, so do it"
Clancy says
"No you don't understand, you and (Y/N) are part of the story. You be destroyed along with the story"
You forgot about that, and clearly so did Clancy.
"It's fine, we have back stories, we should be fine. I have a plan, Tyler since you're probably famous because your stuff is amazing, on stage somehow work in the sentence severing ties with dema"
You tell them the plan.
"Okay and then what?" Tyler says
"We need a meeting spot"
You say
"The trench is real. That will be our meeting spot" Tyler says
We all give each other a nervous look and silently agree.
Tyler picks up the notebook and starts writing.
