You open your eyes, squinting because they're still sensitive to light. Your head is pounding and your body aches. Your mouth is dry and you feel your lips cracking.
"Hey sleepy head"
You roll over to see Tyler smirking.
"You think this is funny?" You ask.
Tyler pretends to be scared.
"Please don't hurt me" He mocks
You give him a dirty look.
"What even happened? How long have I been sleeping?" You ask Tyler
"You've been sleeping for about a day-" He says before you cut him off
"A day?"
Then you remember something.
You remember what Alaric said before you passed out. Alaric is still working for Nico.
"We have to get out of here" You say
"What? Why?" Tyler asks
"Alaric is still working with Nico. He knows where we are"
Tyler's face drops and he sits up straight.
"Even though I rewrote that part, he's still with Nico"
Tyler gets up and leaves the room. He probably is going to get Josh.
You were right. Josh stomps in the room. Tyler already told him.
"Okay. We have to keep calm. We already had plans to leave and rescue some people in dema." Josh says surprisingly calm
He's right though. We were already going to leave.
"When do we leave?" You ask
"A couple hours. We're all going so everyone needs to get ready." Josh says
You think Josh is a great leader. You trust him.
You head out with the others and find something to eat and drink.
As you were drinking some water an unfamiliar girl walks up to you.
"Hey, you're that badass girl with the super powers!" She says
"Yeah, I guess" You laugh
"That was insane. I almost don't believe it" She says
"Yeah me neither"
You both laugh
"What's your name?" You ask her
"Oh, I'm Billie" She smiles at you
"I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you"
"You too"
You two talk for awhile. It's nice to make a friend, besides Tyler.
After awhile Josh gets everyone together and makes one hell of a speech.
You move with the group and exit the building. It's the first time in a very long time that you've been outside.
You don't even recognize where you are.
Tyler looks at you and grabs your hand.
"Our trip to Dema won't be easy"
"How do you know that?"
"Well with nico being in charge and all"
"Ohhh. Right"
