It was the morning and the banditos were heading out. Josh put you in the front with him because you've become "violent". I'll show him violent. Not really. If he wants to treat me like a child, I'll show him child.
"Are we there yet?" You ask
"No" he says
"My feet hurt" you complain.
"Oh well, keep moving" he says
"Why are you so mean?" You ask
"(Y/N)" he warned
You crossed your arms and rolled your eyes. You looked back at Tyler. He was walking alone looked upset. You walked slower hoping you could fall behind and Josh woudnt notice. Josh grabs your arm and puts you back by his side.
"Josh, stop" you demand
"No. You kicked someone in the face. I can't let that just slide"
You walked forever and passed another abandoned city. As you enter a building you hear Alaric whispering to Tyler.
"One word and I'll drag you back myself" he whispers to
Tyler
You decide not to confront him and talk to Josh instead.
What did he mean? Suddenly it all made sense. Alaric is blackmailing Tyler. You run over to Josh to tell him.
"Hey, Josh. Can I talk to you for a second?" You ask
"Yeah. Sure" he says
You walk away from everyone else and you feel nervous. What if he thinks you're crazy?
"I think Alaric is blackmailing Tyler" you spit out
It takes you a while to explain the whole story to him and he looks confused.
"Please, Josh" you beg
"I don't know...I don't know if I can trust you" Josh says
You feel a little hurt by this but you ignore it. You have to save Tyler.
"Josh, please. At least investigate a little" you try to convince him
"Fine"
You walk back in and a couple of people run up to Josh talking rapidly. They look terrified.
"What? What's wrong? And one at a time, please" Josh urges
"Alaric started screaming at us, holding a knife up to Tyler. He said if we followed him he'll kill him" A woman cries out.
Josh looks pissed. He storms through everyone and rushes outside. You follow him and you feel the blood drain from your face at the sight. Alaric has an evil grin as him and Nico throw him on to a horse. Alaric hops on another horse and they ride off. You give Josh a look of "I told you so". You were confident. Obviously this has happened before and probably will happen again, but until then we will continue saving Tyler. You set out on your mission along with the Banditos. Passing the empty destroyed cities, the trench and through the tunnel. It took days of walking through terrible weather and little to eat or drink. You guys stop to rest at the building at the end of the tunnel. You replenish and get good sleep. You're determined to end this once and for all.
"Hey, Josh?" You call for him
"What's up?" Josh asks
"I found this notebook and it's like about Dema. It's crazy" you tell him
He looks through the book of song lyrics and drawings.
"This is Tylers!" He says excitingly
"Really?"
"Yeah! I helped him with some lyrics too, when we were in Dema together. A long time ago before the banditos formed"
"That's so cool"
"Tyler did most of it. It's so detailed I woudnt be surprised if he created this world" he says
You put the book away and got moving. It was a long awkward walk because Josh was either trying to be your bestfriend or your dad. You get to the main building and just go through the entrance. You know they're expecting you.
The huge doors to the main building open slowly. Alaric is standing there glaring at you.
"Come to get your boyfriend?" Alaric asks
"I know this isn't really important right now buttt how long have you been standing there?" You ask
He smirks
"Oh, (Y/N)" he says "little do you know"
"What's that supposed to mean?" You ask
"I trusted you, Alaric" Josh interrupts
"You shouldn't have, Josh. Trust no one. No matter how close. Everyone will abandoned you and you don't even matter" he spits at Josh
You see what he's doing. He's trying to manipulate us. Trying to tear us down.
"I see what you're trying to do, Alaric" you say
"It's not going to work"
"Wow. I just thought you were so caught up in your cheap pathetic love story to notice" he says
"But don't worry I've taken care of that"
Now you're scared. You don't like where this is going. He takes notice in our uneasiness.
"So, (Y/N), I was thinking maybe I could pay you back for that stunt you pulled" he says rubbing his face
He steps forward and you can see the evil in his eyes. Just as you think he's going to hit you Josh steps in front of you.
Alaric smirks
"You have to pick a boy, (Y/N)" he says
"What?" You ask
"You're messing with both Josh and Tyler. We all see it. Josh obviously likes you but I don't know about Tyler so much anymore"
"No more talk!" Josh snaps
"Fine" Alaric says "I'm guessing you're looking for him?"
Alaric moves to the end of a huge hallway and opens a door at the end.
Tyler is laying on the floor, but his eyes remain lifeless and his body lays limp. You feel a rush of a bunch of different emotions go through your body. The two main ones are anger and sadness. You didn't know wether to run to Tyler's body or to attack Alaric. Time feels frozen and your hands feel numb. Tears fall down your cheek and your body collapses. You look over to see the rest of the banditos cry in horrer. You see Alaric sickeningly smirk as Josh attacks him. You walk over to Tylers body and hug it as you sob.
"Tyler, please!" you scream
"Wake up!" You keep shouting
You pound on his chest and shake him. Someone pulls you off and drags you away.
"We need to leave" Josh begs "now"
You scream and cry trying to break away from his grasp.
"We can't leave him here!" You shout
"(Y/N), we have to" Josh insisted
He picks you up bridal style and you sob in his shoulder. You stay like that and fall asleep while he is carrying you
