The banditos cheer as they run around gathering new people to join them. Some are hesitant but they convince them.
"He can't hurt us! We don't fear him anymore" Josh explains
You smile at Tyler.
"It's finally over" You tell him.
He grabs your hand and smiles back at you.
"I can't believe it's over!" He yells excitedly
Eventually the banditos find a new home. A more comfortable and bigger city. With all the new banditos it feels a lot safer. It feels like home.
Everyone celebrated that night. They celebrated Freedom. It made you happy seeing everyone together and comfortable. The smiles and laughter made you happy.
"Hey,(y/n)"
Josh walks up to you
"Hey! How's your brother doing?"
You ask him.
"He's actually having a lot of fun. He's just glad to be back" He says
"That's good" You smile
"Where's Tyler?" He asks
"Umm I don't actually know"
"That's strange" He points out
"Yah.. I'll go look for him"
You search the places you'd think he'd be. Josh is looking through the crowd while you look around the close parts of the city.
"Tyler!"
You yell out for him
You search all around for him. Just when you were about to give up and head back to Josh, you hear singing.
It's coming from an alleyway and it's definitely Tyler.
"I will fear the night again" He sings
You get closer and look down the alley. He's just sitting facing the opposite direction.
"Tyler? What's wrong?" You call out to him
He jerks his head around and stands up.
"No, (Y/N). Stay away from me!" He yells
You slowly take steps towards him.
"Tyler, what's wrong?" You ask
"I'm a coward. I hurt you. I'm scared I'll do it again" He sobs
"Oh no, Tyler you won't" You say
You run towards him but he steps back before you could hug him.
"You don't know that. Everyone would hate me.
I'm weak."
He cries
You stand there shocked. Something is off.
"I only put you in danger and now that we're free I'm the dangerous one" He says
You look down at his hands and see the black slowly starting to show.
"That isn't true. I wanted to be there. I put myself in danger"
You think of things to say to stop him from turning.
"None of this would be happening if it wasn't for me. People are miserable here and it's all me fault" He says
"Nobody here would exist if it wasn't for you. Now that we're free, we all thank you"
You grab his arms and look him in the eyes.
"You are so important to us. We all love you" You tell him.
You pull him into a hug and hold on tight, fearing you might lose him.
You pull away to see the black isn't there anymore.
"Let's get back to the celebration" You smile at him. "Josh is looking for you"
"Really?"
His face lights up
You go back and find Josh. They catch up a bit but Tyler lied about where he was and what he was doing. Strange. Tyler goes to find his and Josh's family to catch up.
Finally a moment alone with Josh.
"Josh, something is wrong with Tyler" You tell him.
"He seemed fine to me" Josh says.
"That's because he was lying. I found him in an alley singing something I've never heard or read in the book. When I started talking to him he seemed devastated and.." You go on
"And what?" He asks sternly
"His hands, they started turning black. Like at dema." You tell him everything.
"He's back"
"Who?" You ask
"Blurryface"
