Ivy Booker
After splitting up from Bella and Gabe, I started wandering down the hallway, in search for my first period class. I'm not sure if it was just me, but there was something a little off between Gabe and Bella. I'm not sure what it was, but I was going to be sure to ask them next period because I felt like they were keeping something from me and I didn't like that. We've been friends for so long, so there really wasn't a need for them to keep secrets from me.
"IVYYY!" I heard as soon as I walked into my first period class. A smile came across my face as I was embraced in a double hug from my two best friends, Royalty and Jazzlynn.
"Hey guys! I thought I was going to have first period all by my lonesome." I admitted, hugging them back.
"I did too, until I walked in and saw Jazz." Royalty said. We all walked towards the back of the classroom and sat down at a desk, pulling out the things we were going to need for this class. "Ugh, great. Majesty is in this class too." I looked up and froze when I saw Majesty, Luca, and some dark skinned boy walking into class.
"W-who is that?" I asked, referring to the dark skinned dude.
"Who indeed." Jazz murmured, biting down on her bottom lip.
"That's Tay Richards. He just moved down here from California." Ro said. "He is a cutie, isn't he?"
"Yes!" Jazz and I said at the same time. The trio of guys walked towards the back, as Majesty sat in front of his sister, while the other two guys sat next to him. I'm guessing Tay felt me staring at him because he turned around and we immediately locked eyes, before I looked away from him.
"Aye." I heard him say, but I ignored him.
"Ivy!" Jazz whispered. "He's talking to you." I looked up and locked eyes with him again, slowly licking my lips before speaking.
"Oh, my bad. What's up?"
"You got a pencil I can borrow?" He asked me.
"Damn man, it's the first day of school and you're already not prepared?" Majesty chuckled. Majesty was beyond fine, but he was too arrogant for words. It still baffled me that he and Ro were twins, but I had to remember that all twins were not the same.
"Shut up man!" He grumbled, putting his attention back on me. "So...about that pencil."
"Sure." I spoke, reaching down into my backpack and pulling out a pencil. "There you go. You can have it."
"Preciate it, gorgeous. I'm Tay." He smirked, making me blush hard.
"N-nice to meet you, Tay. I'm Ivy."

Once school was over, I headed towards my locker so that I could grab one of my books, before headed towards the front entrance to meet up with Bella, Gabe, TJ, and Mila. Putting the combination in to my lock, I groaned with frustration as I tried it two more times, getting the same results.
"Need some help?" I heard from behind me. I turned and saw Tay standing there, as he walked up behind me, and trapped me against his body and the lockers. "What's your combination?"
"I-I really don't need your help." I stuttered, swallowing hard as I felt his warm breath on the back of my neck.
"You sure? I'm not gon break into your locker or anything, baby girl."
"I never said that you would, but seriously...I got it." I assured him, trying the combination once again. Of course, I got the same results, which made me even more frustrated and embarrassed then I already was. "Alright fine. Have at it." He chuckled as I told him my locker combination, watching as he successfully got the lock off.
"There you go." He said.
"Thanks." I grabbed the book that I needed and slammed my locker shut, putting the lock back on there. "I um...I might need your help tomorrow, but I'll have my dad buy me a new lock tonight. I will not deal with the stress of trying to mess with this stupid ass lock!" He laughed, as we started walking down the hallway.
"I got you. So uh-" He was immediately cut off by Gabe and Bella, who were quickly walking down the hallway together.
"Is your phone broke, sis?" Bella asked, holding her hands out.
"No, it's on silent." I told her, pulling it out of my pocket. "I had to get a book out of my locker and I couldn't get the lock to open."
"You never could." Gabe chuckled, making me blush.
"Andddd...who are you?" Bella glanced at Tay, looking back at me, with a satisfied look on her face. Ugh, here she goes.
"I'm Tay. I was helping Ivy with her locker." He told her, looking her up and down. And once again...all eyes were on Bella, while I was put on the back burner. Though I know I shouldn't be jealous because it wasn't Bella's fault that she was pretty, but I was pretty too which is why I don't understand why I don't attract guys like she does. "I'll see you tomorrow, Ivy." I smiled a little and nodded my head, waving at him as he walked off.
"He was cute, but how come I've never seen him before?" Bella asked, as we linked arms and started walking.
"He's new. I met him in my first period class, but oddly we have a lot of classes together." I said.
"Aww, you got you a new little crush?" Gabriel teased, throwing his arm around me. I laughed nervously, inhaling the intoxicating smell of his cologne. I doubt I would be able to be in a relationship with anyone else, especially if I still had this big crush on Gabe.
"No, I don't have a crush on him. Besides...I just met the guy today, and he was nice enough to help me get into my locker." I'm not sure why I was explaining myself to them, but I just wanted to get them off my back about Tay. Overall...today was a really good day.
