I had been planning on proposing to Bella for weeks now and I am so happy that she said yes. Sure we're young, but hey...when you know you know. I want to spend the rest of my life with Bella, and I've known that for a very long time.

Laying in my hotel bed, I had my arm behind my head, smiling at Bella as she stepped out of the bathroom. She had just gotten out of the shower and her hair was dripping wet, along with beads of water sliding down her legs. After prom was over, we headed to the hotel room that I booked, having some insanely hot sex to celebrate our engagement.

"Why are you staring at me?" She asked, blushing a little.

"Because I can, and because you're beautiful." I told her. She smiled hard, crawling into the bed and kissing my lips.

"I can't believe we're engaged! Our parents are going to freak out."

"Yeah I know, but I'm sure they saw it coming."

"Not this soon." She murmured. "I mean...we're only eighteen. Well, I'm seventeen and you're eighteen, but you know what I mean."

"So what? I love you, you love me...what's the problem?" I questioned.

"The problem is that we are young, plus we have to get through graduation and college before we actually have a wedding." I rolled over onto my side, propping my head up with my hand.

"So you want to wait four years until we get married?" I asked her, not fully comprehending what she was saying.

"We don't necessarily have to wait four years, but do you seriously want to start a life like this? We don't have jobs, we don't have a stable place to live, and we don't have money to actually pay for the wedding." She said, making valid points.

"I plan on working throughout the summer, saving up enough money as I can. I don't want to pressure you at all and we can wait for as long as you want to." She smiled and leaned over to kiss me, grabbing my face and pressing her forehead against mine.

"We'll figure it all out, but first things first. Who's going to tell my parents?" She asked, making my eyes widen a little bit. I didn't think that part all the way out, knowing that her dad and my godfather will probably kill me once they find out.

"Ima leave that up to you baby."

"I think the fuck not!" She laughed. "You gotta be the one to do it, future husband. Besides...my dad isn't prone to tradition so you should be fine." That didn't make me feel any better, but I knew she was right. I had to man up and tell Bella's parents that I proposed to her. I mean...what's the worst that can happen?

The next morning, Bella and I stood in front of our parents, preparing to tell them the good news. I'm not going to lie...I was nervous as hell and I didn't know how everyone was going to react, but it could go one or two ways. They could be happy for us or they could kill me.
