Tay invited me over to his house for dinner tonight, where he planned on introducing me to his parents. Not going to lie...I'm nervous as hell, because I never had a guy introduce me to his parents before so I didn't know what to expect.

"How does this look?" I asked Bella, stepping out of my closet. She looked over at me and scrunched up her face, flipping over onto her stomach as she squinted her eyes. "What? Does it look that bad?"

"Where did you get that skirt?" She asked, making a stank face. Ugh, it was clear that she didn't approve of my outfit.

"A vintage shop, on the other side of town. Why? You don't like it?"

"Absolutely not! Take it off and burn it! Immediately!" I rolled my eyes and sighed, walking back into the closet and taking off my clothes. I really didn't see what was wrong with this skirt, but I made a mental note not to wear it around Bella ever.

"Bella, I don't have anything to wear!" I whined. She huffed and climbed off of the bed, stepping into the closet with me.

"First of all, you are trying way too hard to impress Tay's parents. I get that you want to make a good first impression, but you're stressing yourself to the point where everything looks ugly to you. Trust me...I've had those days and it sucks, but I'm sure they're going to love you either way." She assured me.

"I hope so."

"They will, trust me. Now...how about this shirt, these pants, and...those shoes?" She asked, matching me up a nice outfit. She was literally my fashion guru and I don't think I could ever live without her, or her awesome fashion sense.

"You are the G.O.A.T!" I shrieked, hugging her.

"Yeah, I know." We shared a laugh, as I quickly got dressed, leaving me some extra time to do my hair and makeup.

An hour later, I arrived at Tay's house, feeling myself getting nervous all over again. I replayed what Bella said to me in the back of my mind, but not even her words of wisdom could calm me down at the moment.

"Okay Ivy...you got this." I said to myself, as I knocked on the door. Seconds later, a beautiful woman answered the door, smiling widely at me as she extended her hand.

"Hi, you must be Ivy. I'm Olivia, Tay's mom." She said, introducing herself. I'm not sure if she was Asian or Filipino, but whatever she was...she was gorgeous.
