Ivy Booker
After hearing about what Lucas was going around telling everybody about him and Bella, I finally understood why she lashed out in class, which is when I decided to go look for her. What I didn't expect was to find her and Gabe making out in the gym, as if they had been longing to do so for the longest.
Anger, betrayal, sadness...those were all the emotions that filled my veins as I sat in my last period class, trying to erase the image of my cousin and crush making out. Of course I knew that Gabe liked Bella, but I didn't know that she liked him back and if that was the case...why didn't she just tell me? Sure, I would've been hurt, but I also would've gotten over it.
"Ivy, we really need to talk." Bella said. "Just give us a chance to explain."
"There's nothing to explain. You both obviously like each other so whatever. Be together, don't be together, I really don't care." I said, bitterly.
"We get that you're upset, but there's no reason to get nasty about it." Gabe said, causing me to glare at him.
"You know what? How about you both just stop talking to me? Mmkay?" I grabbed my pen and started doing my assignment, ignoring the both of them for the rest of the class period.
Once the final bell rung, I gathered my things and rushed out of class, meeting up with Tay; who was waiting for me at my locker.
"You staying after school?" He asked me.
"Yeah, I have practice." I told him.
"Me too. Maybe I can drive you home afterwards?" I smiled a little and nodded my head.
"Yeah, that'd be great." He opened his mouth to talk, but a fight broke out in the middle of the hallway, as a crowd quickly formed around it. "What the hell?" Tay and I rushed over to where all the commotion was, and that's when I seen Gabe and Lucas's brother fighting. My eyes scanned the crowd for Bella, seeing that she was on the floor, as our friends surrounded her. What the hell happened?
"Bella! Are you okay?" I asked, easing through the crowd. Yes, I was still pissed off at her, but she was still my cousin and I loved her to death.
"No! That fucking Luca lashed out at me and Gabe, shoving me against the locker, just so he could get to him." She said, rubbing her arm. Her and Gabe? Ugh, just the thought made me sick to my stomach.
"Them Biltmore niggas ain't shit!" SaMiyah huffed, as we both helped her up off of the floor.
"Are you hurt?" Jazzlynn asked.
"No, I'm fine. I'm just going to have one hell of a bruise on my arm though."
"BREAK IT UP! BREAK IT UP NOW!" The school security guards shouted, snatching Gabe and Luca away from each other.
