"Mikey.... Michael.... wake up.... kitten, wake up..." My eyes cracked. My vision was blurred at first, then it cleared and Luke's face came into view.
"Hi." I said smiling.
"Hello." He said. I sat up and realized I was still on his lap. The part of my fringe that fell in front of my eyes was messy and covered my sight. I brushed it over to the side, and looked back up at Luke.
"School is about to end, we should get home." He said. I gave him a smile. I nodded my head slightly. He then stood and made sure my feet were on the ground before backing away.
I picked up my back pack and slung it over my shoulder, while he did the same. My hands were placed over my mouth. The ends of my sleeves were hung over my hands. They always did that for some reason.
"Should we go?" He asked. I shook my head, and he then went over to the door. I walked out, while he shut it and then locked the door. After a minute of walking, the bell rang releasing everyone from class. There wasn't too many people in the alective hall for last period, and if they did have it they usually took the other door out. So Luke and I remained alone.
Then, I felt a hand upon mine. I smiled then locked our fingers. I looked up at Luke and saw the biggest smile on his face, only he was trying to hold it in by biting his lip ring.
We made it to the bus stop where the rest of the football team was. They noticed our locked hands but didn't say anything. It was weird, I usually wasn't open about liking boys, but when I was around Luke, it was different. It was like I could be happy with Luke, he pushed away the negativaty, and he made me actually feel something besides embarassment, hate, and depression.
We took our seat on the bus, the very last seat, across the aisle from Kellin and Vic, and behind Alex and Jack. Luke had his arm around my waist, and my head resting on his shoulder. His warmth was welcoming, and made it so I didn't want to push him away.
He then pulled out some headphones with his other arm, and plugged them into his phone. Music started to play and I then closed my eyes, he put him phone down on the seat and he leaned his head upon mine.
"No! At the top of our lungs,
There's no, no such thing as too young,
When second chances won't leave you alone,
Then there's faith in love
She was always the one,
I'll repeat it again, the one,
No such thing as too young,
Red lights flash in the car we're kissing in,
Call me crazy"
"In the car we're kissing in." I mumble along.
I then felt his lips press to my forehead. I looked up and then I leaned in closer. I sat up slightly and leaned in. I was going to do it, I was going to kiss him. He looked down at my lips, then into my eyes. He started to lean forwards but the song changed and screaming filled the headphones making me back away and him turn it down. I did enjoy it, but at a moment like that, no. I slumped back into my seat while I waited for the awkward car ride to end.
Eventually we pulled up at our stop, and everyone got out. Luke and I started to walk to my house, but Luke looked back for a second causing me to as well. Ashton was giving Luke a thumbs up, and a blush quickly swept across Luke's cheeks.
Quickly we ended up at my house. I guided Luke up to the front step. I then pulled out my keys and unlocked the door. Luke then locked it after we stepped in.
