"Sorry, but we know each other?"

My heart stopped.

Time stood still.

In that moment, everything collapsed.

"Luke-"

"Hemmo! C'mon! We have practice in 10!" Kellin then ran over to us.

"Hey, aren't you Clifford?" He asked, I nodded slightly, "Oh, well you feeling alright?"

"I guess."

"Great, well I need Mr. Lucas from you. See ya' around!" Kellin shouted, pulling Luke away.

When he turned he caught my eye for a split second. What was happening? Was this all just a dream? Was I actually dead? Was everyone ust playing some nasty prank on me?

I slowly walked home, I didn't even really feel like going home, so I didn't. I simply just walked around the neighborhood. That's when I came across Luke and I's old house. In the front yard was a For Sale sign. I sighed and continued to walk.

"Hey! Wait up!" I heard someone shout behind me. I turned and saw Luke behind me.

"What do you want?" I asked, sorrowfully. He managed to catch up with me, and I could hear his heavy breathing.

"I just wanted to talk, is that okay?" He asked, his face flushed and his hair a mess.

I shrugged as he smiled, "Okay, so I'm Luke Hemmings, if you already didn't know, and I believe you are Michael Clifford, am I correct?"

I nodded as he continued to talk, "Alright, so what do you remember?"

"Excuse me?"

"You know, the accident. I was the one that caused it, and I need to know what you remember."

"Well, I don't remember much. All I know is that something must have happened to my memory or something because this is not at all what I remember." I admitted, this wasn't the Luke I knew, and I didn't know if I could trust him or not.

"Okay, so do you remember what the accident was?" I shrugged.

"I just remember being in a car crash and then I woke up in the hospital the next morning." He stopped walking, so I turned back at him.

"A car crash?" He questioned. I nodded in responce.

"That isn't at all what happened." He stated, "Then what happened then?"

"Michael, you have been out of school ever since the day I accidently knocked you over and you hit your head on one of the trophy cases that were in the halls. A lot of people said you died, but we all knew that you were just in a coma."

That's when I remembered what he was talking about; Next I knew I was being slammed into and I fell to the floor. My back hit the floor and pain shot through me. My eyes reopened to see the ceiling. Instead of opening my eyes to see the celing, I had fallen on the corner of trophy case putting me into a coma.

"You mean, none of that stuff that has happened since, is real?" I swallowed. Luke nodded as he kept up walking with me.

"Shit." I kept swearing.

"What's wrong?" He asked, as I picked up my speed.

"Everything."

I turned into my driveway and was about to open the door when I heard a shout, "You know, I visited you in the hospital! Nearly everyday."

I turned and looked back at him, "Yeah, you know I felt so bad for that happening to you that everyday I would come by and talk to you."

He walked up to me and looked into my eyes, "Do you remember anything that I said?"
