"Oh Toby Fox..." Dream muttered.
Apparently, Blue had decided to have breakfast with Cross, who hasn't had eaten anything that morning.
And it turned out that Cross had never eaten anything with sugar inside of it inside of his entire life.
To add onto that list, Blue never informed the skeleton what was contained inside of his sugar packed pancakes.
Eating just a few had made poor Cross have his first ever sugar rush.
He was twitching, his bones rattling as he was shaking from the sugar rush. He couldn't stay still too, his fingers were rapidly tapping against the wood, a giddy expression on his face. His feet were bouncing up and down, banging against the underside of the table.
Ink remembered when Blue had blown through six boxes of poptarts in a morning, and had a sugar rush of his own. He had lasted for about an hour before it crashed, making him fall face first into his paperwork during a meeting, completely unconscious. He had been halfway throughout a sentence too, excitedly talking about the case when he passed out with no context.
Dream and Ink were in a fit of giggles when the other Jury members thought that he had a heart attack, even though he was a skeleton.
But this... This was on another level.
He pupils were frantically switching colors as he stood up, his chair slamming into the wall ten feet behind him before practically running into the door before opening it.
"Off to the library we a-go!" Cross yelled, running down the hall and slamming into the wall before turning on his heels 90° and disappearing from view, leaving Ink, Blue, and Dream to watch.
"I thought you said you didn't cook drugs, Blue," Dream said.
"I thought I didn't... Did I accidently add in some sort of drug without noticing?" Blue asked himself, poking the extra pancake on the plate.
"I don't think he accidently drugged Cross," Sci said as he stepped into the room, adjusting his glasses, "It just looks like Cross hasn't had that much sugar before, thus having a sugar 'rush', as some may call it, and will proceed to run around like a crazed animal until it wears off."
"That's terrific," Ink sighed, "We'll have to go chase after him.
"He'll circle around probably," Dream said.
Almost as if by magic, Cross had circled around the corner from the other end of the hallway go their left, running at top speeds to them before tumbling to a halt before them.
"What's taking so long! We're going to be late! Like, really late!" Cross said, bouncing up and down frantically.
"Should I grab something blunt to knock him out with?" Dream whispered to Ink.
"No, just let it run it's course," Ink whispered his reply.
"Yeah, let's go guys!" Blue said happily, jumping up and down with Cross.
"Guys, their multiplying," Sci said, "It must be some sort of zombie apololyse of Blue's."
~~~~~~
"Madam Lust, it's time to get up now."
"Alrighty, thanks for the wake up call, your dismissed."
The sound if popping bones could be heard as he sat up, rubbing his sore hands from the amount of writing he'd done the night before. He had light purple pupils that were focused on the sheets down around him, peeling them from his body.
