"If you were left on an abandoned island with nothing, but could bring only one thing, what would you bring?" Bubbly asked Gaster, swinging her legs back and forth.
"I'd most likely bring an assistant that actually did things," Gaster said, his cold eyes looking over at her.
"Yeah yeah, I'll go get the parts," Bubbly sighed, "Just trying to be your friend."
"Stop."
Bubbly turned to see Gaster frowning at her, a cold feeling filling the room.
"Stop trying to be my friend," Gaster said, "You won't get anywhere, and I wouldn't recommend it."
"Sorry..." She mumbled quietly, rubbing her arm awkwardly as she looked to the side and at the floor.
"Stop looking guilty, it's annoying," Gaster said, snapping his finger towards the door, "Now off you head, I have importany business to do."
"Alright," Bubbly said, walking out of the lab.
Waiting outside was the redhead from before, who was staring down at a piece of paper. He noticed Bubbly when she had walked out of the door and held out the piece of paper for her.
"What's this?" She asked.
"Read," He said simply.
It was an article about a missing person, a human boy a little older than her by a few years with black hair and a wide grin on his face.
"He went missing two years ago, disappeared without a trace," The redhead said.
"I don't get why you wanted me to see this..." Bubbly said.
"That was his last assistant."
The two humans turned silent as she raised an eyebrow.
"Are you suggesting...?"
"I'm telling."
His tone confirmed it. He suspected that Gaster had something to do with this kid's disappearence.
"I don't think he did," Bubbly said, "He wouldn't. He may be cold, but he wouldn't do this. He's just a scientist."
"Fine, don't believe me," He said, briskly turning around, "Keep the paper, for all I care."
"Wait," Bubbly said, grabbing his shoulder, "I-"
"Ahem!" Gaster called from inside the lab, "I hear your voice, but no parts!"
"You need to open up your eyes," He said, swiping her hand off of his shoulder, "Not everything in this Kingdom is great either. You're naive, and that'll get you killed."
Before she could think of anything to even respond, he turned around and walked away, leaving her.
Leaving her all alone in the eerie hallway.
~~~~~~"Howdy do, pardner!"
Fell grumbled some complaints and looked up from his covers to see Dust standing above him, an axe on his shoulder.
An axe that looked pretty familiar...
"Dust," Fell groaned, blinking a few times as he sat up from his nap, "What's that? Is it Horror's axe?"
"Who knows," Dust said, shrugging before throwing it onto Fell randomly, "FELL HAS IT HORROR!"
Fell suddenly screamed when Horror kicked down his room door, yelling loudly for his axe.
